His genuine admiration of humans is the sweetest thing ever. I love that he isn’t the “humans are inferior” sort of vampire and is instead so deeply fascinated by us. I know he regrets what he lost when he became a vampire each and every day and seeing the fight he didn’t have for himself in humans pushes him to keep fighting for us aswell. Sort of a “If I can’t do it for myself” sort of thing. It’s why he let himself be helped by Seras when he was about die to Anderson. He has nothing but admiration and care for humans with enough fight to keep going in a world like ours.
I do think he’d watch those “indomitable human spirit” edits religiously if he ever got a phone in modern times though lmao.
