Am I a real person?
Ever since I can remember I’ve wanted someone to see me as not one but treat me as such. See the writhing thing and say “yeah, that’s a not-not-person. I like this one.” Not love, I don’t need someone to love me. I want someone to like me and I want someone to look and see and stay.
However, that hasn’t happened and I struggle and I look real people in the eye wondering if they see it. How can they not see the lines in the sky. The bubbling kaleidoscopes of actions done that point to my head and shout “ANIMAL”. Not in a way that implies indecency but in the way of instinct. The gleam of my eyes that reflect onto a mirror, of their mirror, and back again to whisper that what was witnessed was no peer.
But then I remember I am an exceptional actor. My eyes reflect lies, so good as to fool even the best observer into believing I am fine. I am kind. I am a real person. A farce so well maintained that even I fall victim to it. Rare spots of clarity bleed through to remind me of my self imposed obstruction.

Ah, I know!! I’m not sure I want to end it! it’s been my weekly escape for a whole year and my love of basketball has grown with it. but. I guess I have to wrap it up. I just love the two of them in this one.
As for other fics… I’m not sure! I plan to finish the two WIPs I have, first of all and then I’ll probably get back to some of my older ideas? tbd. In my headspace, there’s one where Kara’s a bodyguard, another where they’re rivals at tennis (which I’ve mentioned before I think).
My pace may be slower, but I do plan to keep writing them.

hello. my name is halen. my best friend forced me to join tumblr, so here i am. i wasn’t aware that this app is mostly made up of anonymous individuals, so i feel a bit like an impostor. but i’ve decided to use my real name anyway.
i’ll be posting lots of poetry and other writing here. i’m a published author of three books, and i’ve released some music as well. i’m sure there’s a lot more to learn about me, but i won’t throw it all into this first post.

I’ve finally finished the character profile for my deuteragonist after a long time of procrastinating because I had a hard time coming up with something for her character. Now I’m onto the figuring out my protagonist’s brother’s character, and get onto some plot planning as well!
