Oh!
Hmm…
Your ask made me realise I haven’t been playing a lot recently, but I realise I really liked playing MH Rise-Sunbreak, both the solo mode and the multiplayer mode, but it was in 2022, already four years ago!

Just like TS now that I think about it and, I won’t lie, the game is fun.
The choices and the consequences of said choices are plausible, and it’s a nice story you play through, and the characters are not the most profound, but they fit nicely in the role the story gave them.
But Hyzante’s… existence in general lol, just shoot it down for me, and it’s a shame because bar this giant red flag from the plot, from the music to the design and mechanics, I really like this game. Too bad it’s a Squenix game.
I wasn’t expecting to enjoy UO as much as I did because, well, I suck at RTS games lol, and also the fanservice artworks really soured me - elf ladies and Scarlett are prime examples - but despite being vanilla (lel) the story was engaging, the OST nice and the sprites are, despite the fanservice, really beautiful, to the point I bought an artwork book lol.
Too bad the character’s bonds borrow from the worst pandering FE can offer, with everyone having to be available for MC to romance (or nearly everyone) but bar this, the game was a good experience. I really liked it.
I bought the Baten Kaitos compilation and replayed the first one, and origins later on, and damn if I remembered why I fell in love with the RPG genre lol, BKEWLO’s gameplay is really engaging, even if it means having to cook stuff while fighting against demons, the plot holds even if some characters are a bit sidelined they each have their own arc.
I prefer it to Origin’s gameplay and OST, even if the character’s interactions are better (3 characters compared to 6) but Origins really embraces the “it’s a prequel” thing and knowing how everything ultimately went down in EWLO, everything considered, it’s a gut punch since we know everything ends up in flames.
Most recent game I’ve played in PLZA and while I can understand the complains about graphics, pricing and all, for a spin-off game, it was a nice experience. Imo the game explored the “lore” and world of X/Y better than, well, X/Y did even if we’re stuck in not-Paris, there are a lot of inside jokes, the NPCs are charming and if the battle system is a bit clunky, it’s the only game in the franchise where I can send a lvl 100 Ariados to kill stuff.
even if Ariados still can’t do a thing, even powered up by a donut, against P-Groudon
Chauvinism calls, so I pick PLZA.
