Ive been having fun at the hospital. In reality i just sit quietly in a chair while the consult happens so its been pretty chill.

My first night shift is in a week and I’m not excited by that but ohwell.

I’ve only opened the sims to make recolors of frames. This time is “The Hunter’s” family portraits.

The first place I always decorate in a home is the kitchen. Even if I hate cooking irl a just love a nice kitchen.

I had in mind Rain’s parents while building this space, I imagine her mom is a notable philantropist in Brindleton Bay and her dad has a job in the government, like a secretary of culture or education, smth like that. So the inspo is old money, coastal, french country blablabla

This is the layout, copied it from a picture i found on pinterest and i like that has a lot of space while still feeling snug yeno. The second floor doesnt even have wallpapers or anything and i was deeply ashamed of showing it. The facade…? a mystery…

I was thinking about putting the shell up for download, i wish I would’ve saved it before i started furnishing it

Sightseeing the new world and its very pretty. I imagine it will look even better with some lighting mods.

I also like the details that its supposed to be a “tripoint” (had to google that lol) so its a good excuse to mash together different eco environments in a single worldmap.

I imagine they rent this place and it was already furnished. They’ve been living there for a few sim years now and have customized the place a lot and even though they really like this place they want to be house owners. Maybe a cheap place with a big garden and lots of renovations.

usamericans will always be usamericans, idc if your grandmother was born in mexico and you speak a broken spanish or whatever if you were raised in the usa and lives in the usa, you were raised usamerican and lives the usamerican lifestyle, which is directed influenced by usa’s imperialism. you don’t understand our culture or way of living, there’s no such thing as latino “ethnicity” or latino blood lol. if your racist country sees that way i’m sorry but we don’t and you don’t belong with us.

Para mi existen dos cosas, ser culturalmente latino y otra cosa haber nacido en X país con padres latinos. En México se da la nacionalidad mexicana si al menos uno de tus papás es mexcane, y eso está bien, es válido decir que eres mexicano porque ante la ley así se ve.

Pero hay algo que solo las personas que han nacido, vivido y/o estudiado la cultura de México conocen, que difícilmente se puede transmitir habiendo nacido en otro país. Por eso a muchos mexicanos se nos hace extraño aceptar que mexicoamericanos se autoproclamen mexicanos y por ejemplo, no hablen nuestro idioma, no conozcan nuestras costumbres sociales o los chistes nacionales etc… porque luego pasa esto. Que por haber nacido en Estados Unidos tienen un desconecte con nuestra realidad y tienen ese racionamiento blanco anglosajón que piensa que México está lleno de cactus y nos transportamos en burro lol.

Y pasa algo muy curioso, tenemos un dicho que es algo como “Un mexicano nace donde quiera” pero NO aplica a los “no sabo kids”.
