thinking about you

Thank you so much…. You’re so nice ( ;∀;) I struggle drawing her a lot most of the time, so it’s nice to hear that <33

BYI:
hey, that means a lot for me to be able to read, I’m glad you find comfort and enjoyment in my art. :’) <3
I might as well post some art and a wall of text as well while I’m at it, so here you go.

Of course, the typical act of using overly hyperbolic language to describe people who suffer from mental disturbances or trauma since it’s easier to picture them as inhuman or broken rather than to confront the truth that you relate to them more than you’re comfortable with. It’s real ugly but when you go through grief, especially suicide grief (in Jax’s case, over more than one person) you can start to become numb and irritated to other people’s pain.
When you’re proved more than once on the idea that death is not just a looming presence, but an inevitable outcome to all of your relationships, you may find yourself anticipating the inevitable to happen to every single person you meet in the future which can make you pessimistic and sometimes downright cruel in how you regard others. I like drawing up how grief has the ability to manifest into something truly ugly.
I really like the headcanon that Jax’s overly cruel behavior towards Gangle is a manifestation of the anger he feels towards Ribbit’s/Kaufmo’s abstraction. His friends both took their lives but to him, they were pretty okayish individuals who he never remembered having suffered any mental disturbances beforehand, and to see someone so openly ‘broken’ and easy to take advantage of still be able to survive longer than they have is, in his opinion, the biggest pile of bullshit he’s ever had to see. So, as a result of this anger, he takes it out on her, seeing her as not only a mockery of their deaths, but also a challenge. To him, there’s no way such a weak-willed individual be able to survive in a place that tore down two people he thought were mentally sound. People like to joke about characters telling their least favorite characters to go kill themselves, but I genuinely think Jax, at least subconsciously, wants to see Gangle abstract. Because if that happens, that means he doesn’t need to confront the fact that his friends could’ve been around if he was more emotionally present for them, and instead continue on with the denial that abstraction is just the inevitable fate of everyone in the circus, regardless of how they fared mentally. Besides, he’s absolutely not suicidal in the slightest and yeeeet he finds abstraction to be a comforting thought??! Obviously a bug Caine had left in and totally not the fact that he’s a struggling individual in need of help.
Be nice to Gooseworx, she has given us much to love, and we should all be very thankful. 💙
I was not familiar with her work prior to TADC, but I am thankful of her regardless. Without TADC, and in turn, Gooseworx, I would have never met such nice mutuals and people, and I would have never had the opportunity to push myself towards making art and writing for the characters that I love.
Be nice to people who are not only nice to you, but be sure to practice gratitude towards people who have given you the things you love and enjoy. Nothing comes from being unnecessarily hurtful and angry, especially towards people who have only given to you.
you can’t outrun grief no matter how hard you try you can’t outrun grief no matter how hard you try you can’t outrun grief no matter how hard you try you can’t outrun grief no matter how hard you try you can’t outrun grief no matter how hard you try you can’t outrun grief no matter how hard you try

hey everybody I did some redesigning and I settled on this as a human Jax design what do we think
I don’t even like Jax all that strongly as I used to but stating he’s my “ultimat fav” helps in weeding out most of the loud and annoying Jax antis laaooaugghuughhhjjkkg

Hey thanks, I’m glad you like my interpretation of abstraction and Jax’s character. Here’s something I doodled up instead of doing work
