One of my favorite Dover books, [1], is a powerhouse of a reference, and has a huge set of the mathematical tricks and techniques. Probably most of the tricks that any engineer or physicist would ever want.
Reading it a bit today, I encountered the following interesting looking theorem for evaluating sums using contour integrals.

Connor and Josh would be such a cute pair though. A deviant Connor with a compassion for life whether it be human, android, fish, or dog, who’s trying to find himself and understand the world he’s in. Then Josh, an android designed to be a teacher, who spent all of his time reading, learning, teaching, and spending time with his students. Who is a pacifist by nature and values human life despite being attacked and left for dead by a handful of his own students.
I wish they’d gotten more interaction between the two of them, because I feel like they would really get along with one another.
The Lynx and Blackie The Mystery Boy (his mid to late adolescent side kick) face frequent koshings from the bad guys.

The kosh to his head has worked as intended and has put Blackie to sleep making it easier for the bad guy to get a few steps ahead.
In steps The Lynx to save the day.
Blackie is estimated to be between 16 and 19 years old but has the intelligence as well as frame and musculature of a young adult man. Blackie is also a great fighter.
The Lynx is an extremely athletic man, who is good with his fists.

A cosh was much feared by men in the 18th and 19th centuries as it was used by the Royal Navy more specifically by a press gang to force men to join the navy. If the situation got nasty, which happened quite often, the knife was used to defend oneself.
