What happened that night? With obscured vision and an overdose on sugar, there was only doubt that things could’ve ever turned out different.

Huff.

After Prime stalked off, panicked, you had found yourself stranded in a suddenly quiet street. Like some migration, or some disaster, the neighbors you were one-sidedly familiar with had disappeared.

Despite your half-blind state, you still somehow felt compelled to venture further.

Pushing yourself towards the school, where you recalled seeing Salex last, the night fastened its darkness; street-lights flickering, and, in a moment of desperation, you slammed your head into the nearest hard object. A phone-booth.

The pumpkin shattered around you, falling to the ground in pieces. With your sleeve, you had to wipe off the inner-slush from your face. Pumpkin guts, seeds and all, a mess at your feet. Entrails that led further down the street. Gore that, foolishly, you followed.

Step. Step.

“Salex..!?”

Taurtis’ voice. Just around the corner, west of the school. Your feet picked up the pace.

“Holy shit!”

Sam, now. You braced yourself, and looked. It wasn’t a struggle anymore, after all.

Too bad.

The sight of a crashed van. The sight of fire, breaking apart the darkness. The sight of three stupid-looking boys, Sam, Taurtis, and Grian, centered around a body, cloaked in blood and ash.

The sight of Yuki and Ellen, standing to the side; one eye piercing you; two eyes avoidant.

Your knees buckled.

And with that, the blackness returned.

I love this series so much 😭 I’m on episode 57 and I’m nearly at Tokyo soul 💪

This is really hard for me because i struggle to dislike any characters except for the obvious ones 🥹

In yhs s1 probably , like one is rowan for obvious reasons but. I also just dont like paul blart, like i feel like i just cant laugh or care for him

Tokyo soul, nurse md yada yada. Invaders whole thing just seems ,, it feels like theyre trying to keep going with a bit that was funny the first few times.

Tokyo soul season 2, ive watched once and barely remember ( im onto rewatching rn #fakefan mb mb )

just finished episode ten of the kingdom of valor for the first time ✌️ good job for titling the video “TORTURE!”, Sam, because it was ☺️ honestly Grian’s acting is so good 😭 I wasn’t sure whether I was supposed to laugh or cry so I sort of just made sobbing sounds. i love this series, but it’s so mf dark 💀

Deaths in the yhs series dont really leave a big impact on me since death is so often throughout, but i do feel like Prof Weston has also one of the most tragic, despite only having little information on him

There’s this old google doc that explains the possible lore of Prof Weston being a bundle of souls from yhs/ts into one body, granting him a knowledge that there’s something out there, but being seen as a crazy man. Yet, he was so desperate to help Sam escape the town and show him the true world

We never know why he was so determined to get him AND Sam out besides mainly talking about Weston knowing Sam is not from the town theyre stuck in. He could have left town long ago if he had gotten anyone else to get Jerry, but somewhere in those souls wanted Sam to be free and willingly fought off against the scavengers when they finally got out

Imagine having this one goal of getting out of a town that you know its all fake and the real world being in a worse state like 😭😭 Seeing your hopes and dreams just being a desert and witnessing the only person youre familiar with but not knowing why disappear in front of you through one simple wish of your worker asking a book for a happier life with friends, and youre not able to see that

Characters that get some attention before dying like Salex and Gareth usually begin a series of events afterwards, but that doesnt happen with Weston. He doesn’t get an inch of anything of that when his role as a helper is finished. He’s just gunned down in the “paradise” he thought was real, and nobody will remember him

There wasnt a lot of characters to choose from as in not a lot of characters spoke enough to debate who’s my least favorite besides VonHeimer bc.. he lowkey the low hanging fruit unfortunately 😭 his whole role was just being racist to fish and wasnt that interesting and just be a punching bag for other characters

Yandere High School: Grian

it could have been anyone else and have good reasons, but for me personally everyone is charming in their own weird way.. besides grian lowkey. Ok i know hating on grian is also a low hanging fruit and ive keep saying that in the yhs confess blog for fun BUT i do have my logical reasons and it all mainly boils down to his acting and how he perceives the world and humor around him. I dont want to ramble on the form of improv and how the trio have their own system in talking in order to perform for that long, but long story short grian is more of the commenter of an action than an add on of an action. When an action happens in front of the trio, Grian doesn’t really add any more content that is laid in front of them while sam and taurtis (the better add on) go along with whatever is happening and either try being entertaining or create a bit for that action. And Grian just kinda, stands there. Liiiiikkke 😭😭 and he’s not the only character in the Grian System but it’s kinda boring to watch him as a character. He does improve during tokyo soul but in yhs.. execution..

Tokyo Soul: Old Kurokuma

Either everyone is either bland or needs to go to jail and Kurokuma is both but needs to go to JAIL 😭😭😭😭 i need him to die bruh like i never saw the humor of an old man stalking the trio back when i enjoyed the yhs slop and he’s the reason why i (mosty) hate the superhero arc because he talks and ew ew 😭😭😭😭 the way out of all of the characters to appear back in yhsr and its this guy.. no wonder yhsr is a flop bruh (and other parts)

Tokyo Soul 2: Einshine

Easiest decision ever. Idk who let him in that studio and think his humor and acting was good for a supposedly kid friendly Minecraft series. Whenever there was a guest actor video it was a bless. When he comes back i just stare at the screen blankly with my mouth open just trying to get through the video. As the biggest Tokyo Soul 2 fan its so heartbreaking that this guy is the secondary character for this sad attempt of a story driven story because he acts like he doesnt want to be there and Sam just forced him to do it 😭😭😭 and his side of edgy humor was so unfunny it was torture seeing him attempt his sad excuse of jokes in regular speed

Yandere High School Reboot 1: Sam

You almost let yhsr version 1 slide but.. i wont let that happen 😈.. BECAUSE I WATCHED THAT SLOP BRUH THIS IS WHERE SLOP BECAME MORE SLOP 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 9 VIDEOS OF TORTURE AND I WATCHED IT ALLLLL 😭😭😭😭😭 there’s a reason why sam needs another speaking actor next to him because his system is not built to be on its own. He talks to himself more in this because, duh, he gotta explain everything to the audience and if no other actor speaks in chat on something happening then he has to be his own add on or commenter while trying not acting like he knows what will happen next. AND THE WAY HE SPEAKS TO THE FACE CAM 🥹🥹 holy getting out of the immersion bruh like im trying to watch a roleplay slop not the main character asking for likes in the beginning of the episodes. Im surprised it only got 9 episodes because it should’ve been less.

Yandere High School Reboot 2: Owl

Since none of the background characters never bother to be interesting im doing a cop out on Owl. Its lowkey between her and Coolment but Owl…. girl 🥹.. omg bruh 🥹. She lands on the Grian System of just standing there but just either made random noises or speak in a high pitch anime voice with dialogue thats as important as an npc in the street. You go girl give us nothing 😭😭 and its very prominent when its just Sam snd Owl acting alone. Sam can attempt throwing an action to Owl for her to improv around with but she’s so bad at it and just opts to just making noises like get up girl this is not a asmr anime girl video you gotta say something 🥹 this is just the reboot overall but Owl is included on how there’s such a lack of immersion of the setting and friendships its kinda crazy. Throughout my half ass watch of yhsr(2) i never felt the friendship between the trio, even when sam and coolment are stuck under the same roof. Like during the sleepover episode i didnt care about the drama because it felt like it happened just because it needed to for that moment because, uh oh, a character in yhsr(2) cannot seem to obtain past lore from previous episodes!! In order to be.. this thing called.. interesting.. 🤔😮‼️ like wow, if only we got some intell from Owl on how she was friends with that other sad excuse of a character named Nova, or maybe that bland Lighty guy, or maybe ANYYYYTHHIIIINNNGGGGG 🥹🥹🥹🥹 the sad part is.. the only time she was interesting.. was that ONE moment in the rekuza climax of her disguising herself while being a cop but then if you think about it just one second more you go “wow!! What was the point!!” What even is the point of HER actually disguising to help defeat the rekuza while sam and coolment are the main suspects to be caught from all three groups of that boring arc. Who was she hiding from? Did she do it to look cool? What was the point? Again? Will she say anything about it? No, no she wont 🥹 and as always the next episode acts like nothing happened previously and youre just stuck with these characters that are so static it makes cardboard cutouts jealous
