The halls had been quiet ever since Grian had left. No Yuki to watch out for either - her fractured screeching no longer marking the no-go zones of the day. Rowan was free to roam the halls unbothered, unburdened by worries about whether or not he would find his ki- Grian in pieces along the way. Grian had moved on, was off living his life like he was always supposed to, and Yuki had moved on to whatever came next. It should have been peaceful.
So why couldn’t Rowan shake that persistent feeling that something was missing?

I started watching the itsfunneh version of yhs so that when I search yhs fanart to scroll the tag, and I get stuff for that I’ll be able to enjoy that too. :D
