So, it’s been a while since I posted one of these (months!!!) And I’m sorry, but here’s part 3 (or episodes 4 and 5) or
The series that supposedly makes YHS and TS look tame: Kingdom of Valor
I’m Major and let’s get into the summary for episode 4 and 5
TRIGGER WARNINGS

Possible pedophilia (no idea how old Grian, Taurtis and Sam are supposed to be in this series. Its linked to YHS and TS after all, so i don’t know if they’re still supposed to be high-school age)
Episode 4
It starts where Episode 3 finishes, with Taurtis’s rival getting arrested for stealing ravioli which was actually stolen by Taurtis
The three then go upstairs to the room with the three beds
They have a brief conversation but the only important thing is they mention that Thanatos doesn’t come into the kingdom
They go to sleep, Grian and Sam share the bed, but with a full bed in-between them whilst Taurtis sleeps in the corner
When they wake up, Sam overslept for two hours. Grian spent that time trying to wake him up and practicing his two new water spells and Taurtis has been spying on the other people at the tavern.
They all start going to the castle to see the King
All of them forgot what their mission was as they try to figure out what to say to the King
As they arrive at the castle, Taurtis’s rival is being executed
Sam gets Taurtis to sing the news to the King, Sam says he’ll do the tune because he used to be a minstrel and Grian thinks he means like the chocolate
The King sets Grian on fire because Grian was talking back to him when he got mad at them for failing the mission
They get sent to the dungeons and the King orders the guard to beat the blonde one extra, which all Grian has to say in reply to that is “it’s strawberry blonde”, so he’s not got the best priorities
Grian gets set on fire again
Taurtis tries hiding
Grian’s disappeared somewhere
They see a gnome get executed in the dungeons
Grian’s near a cell which they all go into
The executioner tells them he “can’t wait to scar up those bodies of yours”
There’s someone else in their cell who says they haven’t had company in ages
They talk to a woman in a cell adjacent asking her how long she’s been in there, to which she says two weeks
Grian asks her if she wants to go on a date… in order to see if she has any spells so he can kill her
They ask the girl if she knows any way out, she says to dig a tunnel which she’s been doing for a week
Sam says to rat that girl out for trying to escape so then when the guards come over they can use their weapons to kill the guards and break free
The guards come over and take the girl to be executed, but she’s in the cell next to theirs, so they can’t do anything
Grian says to rat out the man in their cell so that when the cell door opens, the overpower the guard and break out
That’s how the episode ends
Episode 5
Okay, So I’m doing both these episodes in one sitting to try and get this summary out tonight
The episode starts with Sam and Grian trying to figure out how to get out whilst Taurtis sleeps
Taurtis wakes up from a nightmare
The Prince comes down to the cell, turns out he’s the King now
The Prince takes the man out the cell and executes him
Sam suggests to arouse the guards
A woman gets thrown into the cell next to them
She’s flirting with Grian
She introduces herself as Olga, queen of the vikings
She says she’ll help them get out and when a guard comes to tell them all to be quiet she flirts with the guard
The guard goes into her cell to kiss her and she beats him to death with a stick
She let’s them out of the cell, but her focus is on Grian. She only let’s Sam and Taurtis out because Grian asks her too
They start to go out the way they came, knocking out the guard they come across
Sam pretends to stick his staff up the guards ass which Olga says “mmm” to, and then Sam stops saying “we don’t want to give her any ideas for Grian”
They run past the rest of the guards, following Olga
Olga takes them to the viking area
Grian says he feels like he’s her slave (because she keeps ordering him around and calling him “pretty boy”) to which she says that he is now
We meet Olga’s husband (? I think) and she tells him that she got a new boy toy and his reply is “another one?” followed by “good, the last one has been dead for days” When she points out that it’s Grian
They go to the proper viking camp where there’s a guard trapped in a cage above a fire, Olga’s husband says they’re a slave captured for her and the guard says “I’m not food”
The guard gets thrown into the fire, sacrificed for Olga which she’s happy about. Alongside pretty much all the other vikings
They go over to Olga and her husband (Olaf) to try and see if they can join the vikings
Grian says that Sam and Taurtis have to stay as well if he’s staying and Olga starts to chase him with a stick, because she thinks he’s not listening To her
They all go into a tent to talk in private and Sam asks Olaf if they can work together to overthrow the kingdom and the King
Grian tries to leave the tent and Olga goes at him with the stick again. Sam asks Grian if he wants to be killed with the stick and Grian says it would be better than being a slave
Olaf says he’ll work with them if they help get their ancestral weapon from the drauger tomb near the chapel
The episode finishes with Sam saying they’ll go get it in the morning and asking if they have anywhere for them to sleep tonight
Woo, did it all in one sitting. Next episode is where it’s really going to get bad, and you can see it building up here, so be careful.
Trauma for Grian. The being set on fire perhaps, and maybe being in the dungeons at all. Definitely the way that Olga is treating him.
As for the injuries he’s sustained, he was set on fire twice and there was definitely a timeskip between episode 4 and 5 so arguably they could’ve been tortured there.
As I said before, next episode will be where it gets bad so heed to trigger warnings and be careful.

Just finished reading the new chapter of Good Riddance To All on ao3 and Aleka was just so cute and I love her so much I had to quickly draw her plus a very confused and out of it Grian.

What happened to him (<\3) and much later when he escapes he ends up meeting scar and after a while he catches big feelings for him. And G is like “what the fuvk is happening to me” cause he finds himself wanting to have sex with scar and is absolutely disgusted with himself for it. Poor thing would feel so conflicted
At the same time tho scar is like “uh this guy clearly has some problems. Oh well I’ll do my very best to support him ^_^” and eventually I think he’d help grian realize those feelings are okay and then much later g wpuld opwn up like “yeah so this is why I hate that side of myself” anf it provides scar even more reason to help and love grian <3
