Did some sketching yesterday, as I have been wanting to get more practice of pencil on paper. I hate my eraser, but you can’t see too many of my errors, haha! I’ll be finishing these digitally and adding them as adoptables at some point. Still need to think up some little character bios or something for them.

Attempts to draw some piccies found on pinterest; made the colour graffiti-like

I’ve been doing a drawing a day on a desktop calendar to get back into illustration after some hiatus. I’m curious to see what the end of year drawings will look like compared to beginning of year.
when the freaking 1 dollar supermarket buy-in-bulk blue pen works better for sketching than any sakura pigma or expensive sketching pen you’ve ever used….
Like these pens are just pencils except with no smudging from graphic. THAT’S PERFECT FOR ME. I can go so light I’ll never need to erase anything. Truly phenomenal
Do you do anything to improve your technical skills?
It’s important to me to keep getting better at what I do, so this fortnight I’m working on my drawing skills by joining Adebanji Alade (President of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters) for his “Sketch Week” online training.
Hope you enjoy seeing some of the drawings that have come out of this and previous Sketch Weeks!
