i just love every single rendition of Judith and Holofernes, starting of course with every single one painted by Artemisia Gentileschi, then probably Franz von Stuck’s, then Giorgione’s, Tintoretto’s, Trophime Bigot’s, and THEN it would have to go to Klimt’s incredible study of Judith, with Holofernes’ head looming darkly in the corner.
inherently, we have to all agree that it goes edith -> judith -> laurie -> jamie with jamie being the ultimate culmination of every woman that michael has ever tormented (and felt tormented by).
jamie instinctively knows layout of the family home. she naturally acts like and emulates judith (h5), someone she has never known or met. she is set up to be the fairytale princess after a tragic life event, while michael is the dark prince resurrected to whisk her away.
but has he come to rescue her? by following h6, technically? more, he’s there to capture her, which throws the entire dynamic of h4-h5 into a new perspectve.
michael might be the solo male lion of the myers pride, but the women run his life endlessly.

The C-shaped ear is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profiles on the neck, abdomen and foot. Partially covered with cobalt blue.
