When Ring founder and CEO Jamie Siminoff decided to use the company’s first-ever Super Bowl commercial to introduce Search Party — an AI-powered feature that uses Ring camera footage to help find lost dogs — he expected Americans to love it. Instead, the TV spot set off a firestorm.
In fact, practically since the moment it aired in February, Siminoff has been making the rounds on CNN, NBC, and in…

These two freaks.
Jamie and Jay. One’s an alternate version of the other. The other got put through the meat grinder. I wonder who it is.

michael’s house in halloween

michael’s house in halloween 5

michael being set up as a more ‘handsome, princely’ fantasy figure in his pursuit of jamie. still scary, but there’s a subtle shift from h4 (i don’t think they knew they were going the h6 route by that point tbh)

the red string of fate over the heart

rune patterns on her blankets, subtle foreshadowing

this is the last frame of the intro transition scene in h6’s theatrical cut, it’s very fast and hard to catch everything unless you rip it frame by frame. i find this interesting compared to the above cap from h5.
i am endlessly fascinated by the connections, specifically from h5-h6, but it draws directly from h4 from the start (i will do some specific posts for each of those films). with h6 in mind, as i’ve mentioned before, michael was never sent to kill jamie, he was activated to fetch her. the change of the myers house, the setup for jamie to be the princess from the initial clown doppelganger of michael, finding her own identity but falling into a trap, michael as the dark prince, etc. like everyone, the initial intro with the guy michael ends up with makes very little sense, but it does make more sense when we have the context that this scene was supposed to be wynn actually getting michael and keeping hold of him for that year. i try to rely more that in my considerations for how this all connects.
jamie inherently knows how to navigate the myers house, and she knows how to essentially mirror or evade michael, and how to manipulate them. they think alike, but think very differently. that’s how they play off of each other so brilliantly. their game of cat and mouse is coordinated very deliberately, very nightmarish and dreamlike, and loomis adds an interesting aspect to this, but michael and loomis need their own post to extrapolate on that. jamie descending to the basement from judith’s room (her starting point, she is activated to act like judith, who likely has some influence from beyond the veil*).
*judith’s last moments are in that room, in that house, and some of her possessions are still there. i think jamie already has a psychic connection with michael, which makes her sensitive or open to her sixth sense, whatever you want to call it. she descends to the basement, then ascends to the top (the attic), and sees the display he has made for her. the bodies, essentially the court of a small kingdom he’s created in their family home, and she takes her place. he has her picture, found a coffin fit to her, and has created this ultimate culmination.
so, why did he raise the knife? likely, michael was probably intended for real to kill jamie, but when you add h6 into it because of how h5 ends, you get a huge contradiction. however, we can consider a few things: michael anticipate and understands what capturing her means, and honestly, he just has to kill her to fulfill what he needs to do (or is perceived/influenced to do). a death from him would be kinder than the fate that’s really in store for her (and him tbh).
she can make him take off his mask willingly, where laurie had to force michael to reveal his face to her. he cries with jamie, but he is shocked with laurie. for both, he finds the need to conceal himself again, despite being seen. with jamie, he destroys the kingdom he has created for her, dismantling everything, and allowing her to leave. she descends down and finds loomis, who baits michael with his “little girl”, thus capturing him by tranquilization.
so, at the end of h5, we see the man in black for real, and we get this really ambiguous ending. then, we get h6, and more context…depending on the cut you watch, i say watch both and mash them. it makes more sense.

this cult wants to cultivate evil, it’s a huge part of their goal amongst xyz, we know what they’re up to (sort of).
they want to use michael and jamie to create a final sacrifice, sometimes it’s to transfer the curse to him, others it’s to kill him as the final sacrifice and transfer it to danny. it’s kind of wonky tbh, the sacrifice makes sense to me, i guess i can see transferring it to michael’s son, but…yeah, i mean the curse is supposed to just take a proper host: innocent, young, seems to favor males due to enda/h1 novel lore, but you can strip that down more to an h2 route or just h1 movie and go from there tbh.
in the theatrical cut, they show they have tried this quite a bit with michael and jamie:

steven is the only one to have made it properly, if i’m interpreting this correctly. i doubt they’d just stagnate or stop a pregnancy, i imagine they figured having these samples would benefit them over purposefully inducing them. idk, interpret this as you will.
this portion of the halloween lore is controversial, sure, but we should have gotten a proper ending. we almost did, there are tons of iterations, and below is just one of them:

this post really is just for me to connect some dots, i really enjoy a little detective work :)

how do I watch damon and jamie on snl in the uk ?? do I have to buy a vpn or what
inherently, we have to all agree that it goes edith -> judith -> laurie -> jamie with jamie being the ultimate culmination of every woman that michael has ever tormented (and felt tormented by).
jamie instinctively knows layout of the family home. she naturally acts like and emulates judith (h5), someone she has never known or met. she is set up to be the fairytale princess after a tragic life event, while michael is the dark prince resurrected to whisk her away.
but has he come to rescue her? by following h6, technically? more, he’s there to capture her, which throws the entire dynamic of h4-h5 into a new perspectve.
michael might be the solo male lion of the myers pride, but the women run his life endlessly.
claim 51% of jamie pilar chapmans assets for jennifer darlas. claim 51% of leland b chapmans assets for leland chapman the bounty hunter.
an aspect i love of both Jamie and Skylar’s characters as the bitch what writes them is that they’re both kinda himbo dudebros and clearly based in the 00s/10s era to a degree, but they’re also both bi/pan and proud so whenever the obvious joke for a character archetype like theirs is “EW BRO, GAY” instead they’re absolutely into it and probably just start flirting
like they’re both, to different degrees, messes (we all know Skylar is worse lmao) but even these two chucklefucks aren’t homophobic. they’re like the fabio scene in dude where’s my car but sincere and they’d also just do that anyway for fun even if there wasn’t someone to compete with at the red light
it just tickles me to imagine them with other dudebros who ARE homophobic and them being like “pfft skill issue how are you homophobic bro that’s so gay”

still working on finishing up the first post for the nsfw side blog and hitting a snag mentally means idk how much longer it’ll take to complete. didn’t wanna keep posting wips but also don’t wanna keep not posting so have these wips of Jamie and Skylar; Two Bros Chilling In A Treehouse, Negative Inches Apart Because They’re Bi/Pan
it’s actually kind of funny that i picture Jamie sounding like Donald Glover when he’s also canonically a Childish Gambino fan
like fuck it maybe Skylar sounds like Sean Foreman bc he loves 3OH!3 so much while we’re at it
