Are Hot Desires Worth a Million Pennies?
Where do men even find the audacity to objectify women? They have daughters, a wife, and a mother — yet, is shame no longer a thing? Does decency not exist in this patriarchal world?
Politicians like Mr. Suntay are not merely slaves to money but slaves to perversity. How can a man — especially a “politician” — speak of his desires for an innocent woman inside a respected room? It is not only about voicing his dirty remarks, but about the very act of entertaining such shameful, perverted thoughts. Really, in Women’s Month?
It does not end there. How can the people inside that room have the guts to laugh at his vile desires, as if it were a funny story? As if it did not objectify women? As if it did not publicly humiliate his wife, his daughters, and his mother? Worse still, some of those who laughed were women. Was that laughter born of genuine amusement, or of misplaced respect? Let me remind you — holding a government position does not equate to respect. And whatever position you have, even if you’re just an ordinary man, should never tolerate a perverted mind.
To Mr. Suntay, what you did was not just a humiliation to your family, but a strong proof of your good-for-nothing position. If you do not have anything good to say to the Filipino people, if you do not have anything good to do for the sake of our drowning country, then shut your corrupt tongue. You’re just making it shameful for Filipinos to live in a country where men like you turn power into a weapon of disrespect.
Have an ounce of dignity. You’re disgusting.
Another embarrassment to the Philippine government, by the way.
