how do I explain to my friend that I like them. Like.
we talk all the time, we’ve been friends since we were around twelve, and I only really realised yesterday but it’s been obvious my other friends already knew.
the thing is, to stop liking someone, I tend to distance myself from them, which I will not do to them, because in the end, they are my friend.

I can literally imagine her just curled up with me on my sofa watching TV with me and she’s got a contented little smile on her face as she’s wrapped up in a blanket with me and… Yeah. She’s incredible.

In the City today, I found a wishing tree. I took the last ribbon there, and tied my wish upon the highest bough; maybe if it is higher it will be heard more easily. Let it float into the heavens far from this place and bring me back Annabelle’s love, if it can.

The work continues.
I wish I could see her right now, just talk to her. I want to tell her how I feel. I’m afraid to open up and be hurt again, but i can’t help but just give in to this feeling no matter what. I’m not afraid of loss, but of living life without expression.
But it feels so right with her. Even when my mind tries its hardest to cast me down, one thought of her smile and I’m elated again. I want to do everything I can to make her happy, and bring her joy.
She already does the same for me.
