(This is actually a disagreement my husband and I had, but it seems ZoLu coded. So I’m sharing it here.)

Zoro: I really wish you would stop calling me your ex-boyfriend.

Luffy: But you are my ex-boyfriend.

Zoro: Just because I’m your fiance doesn’t mean I’m an ex! If anything it’s an upgrade.

Luffy: It is an upgrade, but you’re not my boyfriend anymore. So that makes you an ex.

Zoro: It’s confusing as hell and you’re worrying our friends when you call me that! When we are married, are you gonna start calling me your ex-fiance?!

Luffy: Of course! What else would I call you?

Zoro: How about your husband?!!!

Luffy: But ex is funnier.

I haven’t thought about that, to be honest! I’d originally meant for the fic to be OPLA-friendly, meaning that most of the characters would have to have shown up on the LA. Therefore I didn’t want to have Ace be a big part of the story. But if that’s your head canon, then go for it!

(One of my original plans was to have a scene where Ace and Sabo show up because they weren’t happy that Garp had sent Luffy off to live there alone, and they could meet Zoro and sus him out.)

months of not having even a single sentence to write and then suddenly inspiration hits you at 3am and you end up with 20k words for the new chapter you upload 😅

I think we are overreacting about the effect luffy has on the straw hats(ESPECIALLY zoro) bc let’s be honest.. Who wouldn’t die for luffy? Or follow him to hell if you could? Or protect him with your LIFE. Bc luffy is the only person I’d do ts for I’m ngl.
