It’s too bad that Luffy’s sandals are just like, a massive ankle-busting safety hazard in live-action cause they’d truly just be the funniest detail.

Just all these turbo dangerous guys getting absolutely demolished by some seventeen year old in a strawhat & flip-flops.

One thing that kinda irritates me about the OPLA is the laack of blood. You’re telling me Zoro is cutting and slicing his way through 100 people with 3 swords and not one puddle? I don’t want Kill Bill levels of blood/gore, but just a bit of a mess

Charithra on how Vivi influences Luffy at the beginning of episode 6:

I think Kiki ( she means Iñaki Godoy, Luffy’s actor) and I really talked about Vivi and Luffy’s relationship. It’s an incredible special one, obviously because they are both leaders and they have goals and responsibilities when it comes to leadership. Vivi is one of the few people who changes Luffy. Luffy is a character, you know Kiki describes him like Paddington Bear. He influences other people but he seldom gets influenced. But Vivi does influences him and that’s one of the moments -you know in season 3 there are more of these moments- but in season 2 that is the moment you see her impact on him. I think that’s a real privotal moment of friendship and bonding between the both of them. I think he recognizes all that. This is like a kinship and an understanding that maybe other people don’t have.

Finally watching OPLA season 2 !!

I’ve missed this show so much😭 wanted to post about some of my thoughts!

SPOILERS for episode 1

• Oh how much I’ve missed seeing them!!
• The way you can tell they’re much more comfortable with each other than they were last season
• Especially my girl Nami!! She’s so much more free now
• Nami
• Also, Robin’s introduction?? That was so cool
• Going to Loguetown is NOT a good idea😭
• “you take this, you pay me back. With 300% interest.” LMAO
• I don’t care what people say, Usopp is arguably one of the funniest people in the group
• “I’m not lost,” he says, as he is very obviously lost
• Sanji knew better than to leave Luffy on his own lmao
• Buggy getting rage baited every time by Luffy forgetting his name will never fail to make me laugh
• Did not know how to feel about Bartolomeo to be honest
• But he grew on me near the end of the episode

out of all the references and easter eggs in season 2 i think my favorite is the fact that (next to nika and brogy) one of dorry’s little statues is loki’s og silhouette

With opla playing the Luffy may be Roger’s son card, I really need the opla only reaction to full one piece family tree

The NamiVivi this season is like straight out of Ao3. Their separation at the end of Alabasta Arc is gonna be brutal.
