Seriously, people should reread One Piece again from the start. I forgot how funny it is.
Luffy Just realising he is cold, so leaves the fight to get a coat.
Then We have Luffy rummaging around warmer clothes. I love how Nami tells him to take hers as it’s warmer and just goes back to sleep. Funny that she is like ‘not my problematic also so endearing that she trusts Luffy so much to go back to sleep with a fight going on.
I love an cunning woman 🤭 Look how delighted Nami is that she can swindle money out of Luffy. I love that Luffy immediately knows that Nami planned it.

Reading through Drum Island again (fic research) and got to the fight scene and you really can see why people have been using the Straw Hat flag in protests. I know most people would probably think Enies Lonby would be the main source motivation, but the scene is so heartfelt and powerful in Drum Island too.
First you see just how important the flag is to Chopper.
Then you see Luffy’s reaction. He knows just how important a flag is and he is furious.
“It is a symbol of faith.” Man I love Luffy. I just can’t quite put into words how this scene makes me feel. I wanted to share the pages so that people can read it and maybe feel the same way I do.
Also this little bit here really sort of stands out to me, for no particular reason 🤭

Love Luffy’s description on what a hero is. It makes so much sense why he is willing to help people that share food, as he sees them as heros. Luffy loves heros!
Funny that Luffy’s definition of a hero doesn’t seem to fit a certain relative dubbed a hero by others.
