Finally making a pinned post for my blog! Hello, you can call me Hjalli. As my bio states I’m in my mid-20s and I am nonbinary (they/them) and pan. I consider myself a norse pagan. Heathen also applies. My heart is currently held by my wonderful girlfriend 💚

I was previously much more absorbed in my witchcraft and worship / spiritual practice, and over the past year I’ve been trying to get back into it. I have mainly worked with Odin, but am now reaching out to work with and offer prayers and offerings to many other norse deities / figures.

I have a background in anthropology and religious studies. I love studying and learning about all kinds of religions and cultures - norse mythology and norse paganism is just the one that spoke to me personally. I also attend services at my local Unitarian Universalist church, as I don’t really have a local pagan community to interact with (yet).

My blog is inclusive and open to all who are willing to open their hearts to listen, reflect, and learn in life. Heathenism, paganism, and witchcraft are for all! I mainly reblog things that pique my interest and tend to pertain to paganism, norse mythology, witchcraft, art, prayer, etc. Will be trying to make an effort to make some personal posts every now and then that relate to my practice, as well as interact with the witchcraft and pagan community more here on Tumblr.

Here are a few i know from Italy

• Place a coin in the floor or walls during the construction of the house to attract wealth
• Hang a horseshoe above the door to bring good luck and protection
• Place a broom above or next to the door to bring prosperity and protection
• Hang or keep in a vase aromatic herbs such as lavender, mint, rosemary, sage, and bay leaves
• Sprinkle salt on door thresholds and window sills
• Use holy water to clean mirrors, windows, and doors

aries season 🔥 2026 calendar

this season, we have things going (mostly) as expected: mercury stations direct, our inner planets truck along, and our outer planets don’t make any big transits in or out of signs. we’re still in a period where it feels like our new and full moons are reversed (we’re going to have our full moon in libra first, then our new moon in aries), but we’re not looking at too many wild changes, which is a welcome relief from 2025’s massive slate of outer planet ingresses!

PotionCraft Game mod spell

I came up with this spell to mod the game Potion Craft to allow me to create potions in game that have real world effects. Case and point, it’s a game based alchemy lab.

Sacrifice makes the world, fire is born into water, water and sky separated. Man emerges from the underworld, our father is Dis Pater. Snakes are the lifeblood in the land, Fire and Water. Our springs, rivers, rising sap etc.

3) how does your compass differ from others? Draco is the very edge of the compass, Polaris its center. These two constellations correspond to the world navel. The animals Î assign to the cardinal points are specific to my area, geese, moose and dogs in the north. Geese, swans, rooster, the snake as fire in the east. Snake as water in the west. I like to lay what Robin artisson ( Î KNOW I KNOW HES GROSS) called in one of his books a “trickle road” for the spirits to walk. It’s probably pretty similar in most other ways.

12) your hottest take NOW! Uhmmm paganism and witchcraft are still constantly conflated. It’s not always “deity work” it’s worship. It’s religion. You don’t ever need to touch magic to be a pagan. You don’t need the gods to talk to you, doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. Again, it’s religion- not necessarily magic.
