If you’ve been wondering why I haven’t been seen on here lately it’s because I’ve changed my exercise routine and I wanted to give my knee a rest from too much walking. You see in these pictures I’m eating a very healthy homemade muesli full of different types of nuts (macadamia, pecans, cob nuts, pumpkin seeds buckwheat but little fruit other than desiccated coconut & no added sugar .
You will notice me reading a book by Nash Jovic given to me by his son Milos also an accomplished fitness guru who has become my personal trainer. I have read other books on fitness and while I know a little about fitness I realise now there is a subtle difference from a good read fitness book and one that stands out against the crowd. For those of you who haven’t heard of Nash he is an accomplished fitness author as well as with 46 bodybuilding competitions and 17 or more Gold titles. His books are surely the champions of fitness reads. This week alone I have had three PT sessions focusing on the upper body that have left me energy depleted. But this has more do with the recovery exercises I have to do for my knee injury and too much walking in the heat.
Already having only got onto page 59 his book is written with so much clarity and enforces already what I have read in the Personal Training manual I have been studying. I am looking forward to my new and exciting journey into weightlifting towards my goal of entering Masters CrossFit events next year.
