i just went swimming for the first time in….i wanna say over a decade?

i try to move my body intentionally and mindfully, which is very difficult with chronic pain bc all i can think is “owowowowow” but i managed to swim for about 30 minutes and walked home.

this is following some recommendations from both my GP and a rheumatologist i recently saw. while i’m in the process of being evaluated for fibromyalgia and whatever else may be causing me pain, i should be treating myself like i have fibro to see if any of the tools help. one such suggestions for exercise is swimming bc it’s very low impact. and while im not sure how im feeling in relation to it versus my hypermobility, i do feel really good after this one time. so hopefully ill be able to continue?

I love living in a state thats hot a majority of the time. I can just wear my swim wear under my clothes and take my shirt off if I get too hot, not like I dont walk around in my bikini at pools and beaches anyways

Riverside picnic with my partner enjoying the warmth post work. The water was freezing, but that never stops me from going in for a dive. I found some a couple of souvenirs for keeps at its depths. Trying to cleanse myself from the seasonal depression.

I want to get a new bikini but all the reviews for the places that have like good quality that I’ve seen online so far don’t offer separate sizing for the tops and the bottoms. And I don’t like all the styles. I like triangle bikinis on other people. I just don’t think it works for my boob shape. I’m a medium on the bottoms and I’m a 30- 32 DDD. I got a bunch of bikinis last year and none of them fit. Two of them are super cute. The tops are way too small and the bottoms are good but one of them is like really cheeky and I don’t mind cheeky bottoms but I don’t want both cheeks out yk
