A couple of recent finds. This chinese tea caddy came with the residue of some kind of black tea in it; unidentifiable to me. I could tell it probably wasn’t Assam or Yorkshire Gold, anyway. What I was very interested to see was that the inside had been fully coated with a thin layer of wax. Not beeswax, I don’t think. Seems more like some kind of vegetable wax. This is a first for me, but I’m not up on my Chinese tea culture so maybe that is a common thing but of course, Google is next to useless. I don’t think the box is terribly old - 50’s at best, but if anyone knows, I’d be interested to hear.
The tiny spoon (mushroom spoon!!!) came from a Garden Place where they had a number of these lovely little hand-whittled scoops on offer. Given it was under a fiver, I couldn’t resist.

oh oh oh!!! and this morning i buy these thingies :DDD am supa supa suuuuupa hyped cus is tamagotchi am so so happy loved these since was really young but only had one only one when was little and couldnt even really cognitively understand well how work ( ´ ー `) i got one cus is spring sale right now!!! otherwise wouldnt be able get cus tamagotchi are like… £15-25+ for one got this one like 50% off thou :D then there have uhh this fancy shmancy cleansing body care soap bar it sound and look sooooo yummy.. hope it smells good :o and uhh yaa 2 belts . i needed belts i only got one which old is like have it from 2018-2019 atleast??? 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️

So far I’m a waist size 32 (no matter how many times I measure). Bought a Levi denim jeans size 12 because 12 is waist 31-32. That pair of jeans is too big. Luckily it looks cute and works on me as a baggy pair of jeans.
Denim skirts and pants (depending) can be the same size. Bought a skirt size 6 because 6 is a waist 28. Went lower because I lost more weight (yet still a waist 32) and going down sizes seems right. I was worried it wouldn’t fit and be tight or not button/zipper. Still does not fit and it’s the opposite of my worries, it’s too big. It’s meant to be high waisted and it does not stay high waisted and it’s suppose to be a mini but, it’s a bit longer on me since I’m a shortie. Rather then half way up my thigh it is above my knee. A belt will remedy the situation.
I’m losing weight slowly now so the change in size should not be that massive. I’m genuinely confused about sizing now. Apparently clothes are not the size they say on the tag. Buying clothes online (pants and skirt) is also a factor in how they will end up fitting since you can not try them on beforehand.

I went shopping for clothes today. I found some clothes too. :-) Not bad. I both like and don’t like buying clothes. I hate seeing myself in the mirrors inside the fitting room. It’s something about that bright light and you stand there half naked. Today I could see I had a bad hair day and I am always a bit stunned to see how I look from different angles. I personally think I am so ugly to look at. I look so boring too. But I have no idea on how I should look or how to improve myself.
And I have also experienced that people suddenly just pull the curtain on the fitting room I am in. How nice! That has happened more than once. Is it so hard to understand that if the curtains are closed, well, then there might be a person inside the room?!? How hard can it be?
And then there’s the issue with money… it all costs a lot. I can only shop a little with the budget I have but I feel like a million dollars if I find something that fits. So it can be fun to look for clothes but I am not really a shopper. But today was the day… and it was OK. I found both go-away-clothes and being-just- home clothes.
