joono’s once again theory:

it is widely preached that you should try everything once before giving up on it. i live by this belief. we should never give up on something before giving it at least one fair shot. but I’ve taken it a step further.

i say, you should try everything once, then once again before giving up on it. what does that even mean, you ask? well, there’s an unknown number of factors that are capable of influencing your capacity to like something at any given time. as a woman, i only truly enjoy eating chocolates when i am on my periods. other than that, i almost hate eating chocolates. you may ask, how did i figure this out? so basically when i lived up to my belief of trying everything at least once, i tried chocolates and figured how they taste. and based on that knowledge, i knew when i craved it in that specific mood. so if i hadn’t given it the first shot, of course i would’ve never known, but thanks to my second shot at it during my periods, i learnt I don’t always perpetually hate it, and learnt to lean into my chocolate cravings for a lil adventure during my periods.

there’s so many things I’ve evolved to like with time. the only fruit i hated eating growing up was Indian Jujubes (kul). i was averse to eating but thanks to my once again theory, I tried its unripe version and literally loved it! I would’ve never known the joy of the fruit if i let my once experience as a child hating it, dictate my choice forever.

so while trying once is very important, trying once again is when the real magic happens. you open your mind to a possible rediscovery of your taste, learn more about how and in what ways you evolve, and find new joys in old, boring things all over again. after all, isn’t that what’s life about? i live by this theory, and i think it’ll prove valuable to whoever follows it!

On February 22, 1788, in Danzig, the German philosopher, one of the most famous thinkers of irrationalism, misanthrope Arthur Schopenhauer was born into the family of a merchant.

He was drawn to German Romanticism and was fascinated by mysticism. His main philosophical work was “The World as Will and Representation” (1818), which Schopenhauer commented on and popularized until his death.

He held Immanuel Kant’s major works in high regard, calling them “the most important phenomenon known to philosophy in two millennia.” He valued the philosophical ideas of Buddhism (a bust of Kant and a bronze statue of Buddha stood in his office), the Upanishads, as well as Epictetus, Cicero, and others. He criticized his contemporaries Hegel and Fichte. He called the existing world, in contrast to Leibniz’s sophistical, as he put it, philosophies, “the worst of all possible worlds,” earning him the nickname “the philosopher of pessimism.”

Schopenhauer’s metaphysical analysis of the will, his views on human motivation (he first coined the term) and desire, and his aphoristic writing style influenced many famous thinkers, including Friedrich Nietzsche, Richard Wagner, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Erwin Schrödinger, Albert Einstein, Sigmund Freud, Otto Rank, Carl Jung, Leo Tolstoy, and Jorge Luis Borges.

Think outside the box? How about tearing it down completely? 🧠🔥 Picture this: you’re at a coffee shop, sipping on a double-shot espresso while debating Einstein with some wannabe philosophers. You glance around—everyone’s in their boring tees. Then you stroll in wearing that shirt, and suddenly they look like extra sides in a fast food joint.

This isn’t just fabric; it’s a f*ing manifesto for those who dare to challenge the ordinary. Your brain is your best accessory—let it shine!

If I had to choose between a life full of music and a life full of love, I’d choose music because then I’d have both.

She is a dreamer
a deep thinker
She is a mystery
a secret keeper
She loves too much
She says too little
She feels too much
She expects too little
She is a believer
a lover, a healer
She is a keeper.

i roleplayed over text 24/7 for five to six years over text with my toxic best friend and it was horribly detrimental to my mental health but i do miss it like a bitch sometimes

the escapism of wandering off into a fantasy world with your bestie (even if they’re evil to you) was unmatched and sometimes i think i would die to live it again

still seeking the euphoria this type of storytelling brought me
