Perhaps this is my fault as the trolls have figured out a way to bypass my screening by simply pretending to seem earnest while at the same time making the most bad faith suggestions known to mankind. I’ll try to do better going forward.

Chronologically, starting from the oldest:

Sometimes We Believe: Methos, outside perspective, from the POV of a Watcher who’s a slave (an OC) in the Horsemen’s camp. - Highlander

Epilogue: Methos, outside perspective, from the POV of a dying/dead opponent during a quickening. - Highlander; not on Ao3

A River in Egypt: Either an outside perspective on John, or just DK-from-inside-his-own-head as he dreams about John who is actually dead. - Farscape

Rise and Shine: The whole crew in close-up, on an average morning on Moya. (Farscape)

Together: Remus and Sirius during HP book 5, viewed from inside Remus’ head. (Harry Potter. Yes, I know. It was 2003. - This is, sadly, still one of my most popular stories. Maybe I should put an ad for my Die fic into the author’s notes there, lol.)

Names: Methos being an archaeology student and meeting an old friend (an OC) while working on a very unspectacular excavation. I guess this one counts as putting a guy in a situation? Barely? (Highlander)

Normal: John in Terra Firma, viewed from inside his own head. (Farscape)

Atlas: Very very short… zoomed-out summary? of Adama and Roslin in Battlestar Galactica the miniseries. (BSG)

Starving on the Jump Down: Sam as he falls to his (canonical) death, in close-up (3rd person). (Life on Mars)

How to Love a Madman: Considering Sam’s mental health, from Annie’s POV (3rd person). So, kind of an outside POV. (Life on Mars)

68 Wives: Methos and love/marriage, extremely zoomed out (5000 years in 1300 words). (Highlander)

The Last Lost Generation: An article written by Sam for a gay activist newspaper. So, kind of from inside his own head. Fic about another writer’s fic. (Life on Mars / Undercover series)

The Breakfast of Losers: Moya crew having breakfast together. Just an exercise in writing multi-character dialogue. (Farscape)

Endure: Methos, milennia in the future, after the end of the Game. I guess this one does count as putting a guy into a situation! (Highlander)

The MAD Doctrine: Sam stays in the past and causes WW3. Or maybe he’s just dead. This one probably also counts as putting a guy in a situation. (Life on Mars)

Dead Man’s Jacket: Episode tag scene for The Hidden Memory. John, back on Moya, has to begin to integrate death into his life. Close 3rd. (Farscape)

Personal Space: Missing scene for Terra Firma. Jack, waiting for John to return to Moya, just after first contact. Partially a very indirect outside POV of John, because Jack is having a look around John’s quarters. (Farscape)

Tilting at the Wind (cut along the dotted line): Maya from inside her own head, and at the same time kind of an outside perspective on Sam. (Life on Mars)

Eldritch Things: Bob’s dad as he’s cat-sitting Spooky during The Delirium Brief, and thinking about Bob. So, yet another outside perspective. (The Laundry)

The Resistance Is Useless: Bob’s brother joins the resistance. This leads to a reevaluation of the fraternal relationship. Yep, another outside perspective… but I do think this one actually counts as putting a guy in a situation. (The Laundry)

Ghosts - 1987: Ramse and his relationship with his brother, more or less from inside his own head but actually 3rd person (but really zoomed-in). (Twelve Monkeys Splinter)

Something that Remembers Being Human: Pete the Vicar, after being (canonically) infected with PHANG syndrome, angsting and having some very interesting conversations with Bob. (The Laundry)

How to Reappear Completely: Ash dealing with being back in the real world, and with what that means for Ash’s relationships, but primarily those with Sol and Sophie. I’m undecided on whether this counts as putting a guy (of indeterminate gender) into a situation or not, because it follows so directly from the last few pages of the comic that it basically feels like a canon situation. Though it might also count as taking a guy (of indeterminate gender) out of a situation, because it’s all aftermath? Or maybe it’s neither. Hm. (Die)

I’m more me than I’ve ever been

Somewhere along the lines

The sunsets became cold

The clouds covered the moon

My favorite tree got cut down

Orion stopped showing up

The music became sharp. Then loud. Then static. But never silent

The art became non-existent

Potatoes stopped tasting like they used to

I stopped yearning

The blood became red, the darnkess black

The undiscernible, desirable shapes in the dark took form

The endlessness in the room became matter

I could touch it; I could feel it

Forbidden fruit in the garden of Eden

I was Adam, I was Eve and I was the snake

Screaming at myself to put down the razor I told myself to pick up

Mtoto akililia wembe, mpe

I lost touch somehow

I want it back

I want me back

I’ll get me back

I need to get me back

Harvey!!! he’s one singular oc in a story filled with q few others (3/5 are lgbt, harvey is one of them), and they will make appearances soon!

I will briefly summarize the story cause that’s all i can realky do, not much of it’s developed honestly. So it takes place in modern times, nearing the zombie apocalypse. Everything’s going bad, politicians are forgetting to take their meds or should be in retirement homes, blah blah blah. Then, a group of teens decided “why not terrorize the police like they terrorize the people?” So, each teen does a different part of the operation. Harvey is the one who goes to protests and riots to look for potential cops to torture, becuase he loves violence and is the only one who isnt afraid to participate in a riot. Once they find a cop, they find a way to lure him to a specific spot, and broadcast him being tortured wherever they can. They feel no remorse.

Okay now that that’s over with, it’s timr to dive into Harvey himself!!

- harvey is 15 years old and has a twin brother (not identical)

- See, he fell in love with a girl in the group, but it’s more of a situation-ship cause he keeps cheating on her with the group’s leader, Raymond (for love). And she cheats on Harvey with other guys knowing she wants a woman. they make it more complicated than it should be.

- harvey doesn’t die at the end!! Raymond shoots him during an argument, sure, but he lives and it only mildly screws up his arm’s mobility! (think of the ending of ‘the passenger’)

- Harvey THINKS his nickname is worm because he once ate a worm for 15 bucks, but never ended up getting paid. Really it’s because he decided a good way to flort with Raymond was to do the worm. Very poorly too, but no one’s bothered to tell him, not even Raymond

- He and Raymond have a ‘Casual’ by Chappell Roan thing going on. gays will do anything but admit they love each other

not much else to add except for the fact i love harvey, he’s my favorite.

@kalied0skull okay night night time

“Dora was the woman who lived. She made lace, tended flowers, and kept pet birds; she was remembered as a smiling old woman who died peacefully. She lived a long and healthy life. So why, I asked myself, hadn’t her story been preserved along with that of Lili Elbe?

Elbe was a painter, supported largely by her partner, and she even wrote a book about her experiences. Dora, on the other hand, eschewed the limelight. She was not glamorous or well-heeled.

She had no higher education, no grand aspirations, no claim to titles. She worked menial jobs in factories and as a maid.
Her experience reveals the quiet life of a person who, above all, wished to be an ordinary woman. There are many more Doras than Lilis — thousands of transgender people leading lives that will not be memorialized. And that is what makes her so very important right now. Pulling her story from the fragments of history likewise helps us recognize there are countless transgender people who have always been among us, living, loving, struggling, and also quietly thriving.”
