I woke up and realized why the Empress card kept appearing for me throughout this year. To no surprise, the card is ruled by Libra, my Solar Return rising sign. I ask myself - What does embracing my femininity look and feel like to me? How have I been taking care of myself this past month? What have I bought for myself that wasn’t something I needed? What have I done that was solely for myself?

I think about Binoo when I think about Virgo, possibly Libra energy. She always cleans herself after eating. She basks in a big stretch when she allow me to brush her. She doesn’t hesitate to ask for more treats if I’m giving them out. So essentially, she’s my self-care role model.

The Libra placements I know are big on self-care, on beauty, and looking clean and presentable. It doesn’t mean I’ve got to start embodying that energy specifically, which is why I go back to the questions - What does embracing femininity look like to me? What does caring for myself look like?

I go back to Amber’s Leo video for June and how she says “Rarely do I ever see Leos living up to that selfish stereotype.” I don’t know, Amber. I also don’t know why I dim my shine. Why is it such a question for me whenever it comes to something I want to do or say or wear? I’ll be working with the Empress and Sun energy.

I’m content. I’m happy. I’m at ease where I am in life. I know what needs to be done. I know what’s in progress. I know what I want. I’m remaining patient and doing my best in the mean time.

I’m currently undergoing a number 7 #PersonalYear and while my desire is to step out in the world and connect in a physical way, what’s implied by this number is that I solidify my internal resources through study, practice, and solitary work that is practical and consistent. Working on my communication in a way that is self reflective as it comes rather than seeking out opportunities to hone my skill.

This is not to say I’m perfect or “ascended”. I still struggle with defensiveness and silence as self protection. Still have trouble with the rooting part of the fruition process, but I am growing through it all, seeing more clearly my path and prepared with belief in my self gained through experience, to do what it takes to claim the like I deserve. I’m preparingbto maintainh what is now manifesting by any means necessary. Perpetual PROGRESS and shit 8 year, herr I come🙂

I’m nearing the end of a 17/8 personal year in October. I’m reading over the rest of the energy of the period then the next 3 months. To find your personal year number take your birth month, day, and year. This will give you your personal number from that date until your next birthday. For example, my last bday was 10-16-2016 which equals 1+7+9=17/8. In October this year it will be 10-16-2017 = 1+7+10=18/9.
