Y’know the way dream magic here is highlighted to fuck with others’s emotions feels similar to how Sirius’s Authority of Wrath is in that facet.

What is it with people in this Country believing Witches are the source of their problems? I swear, that’s twice now.
Anyhow, this idea of a Witch being behind potential murders makes it sound like to me somebody (maybe Nananna) is a serial killer hiding behind that fear.
Perhaps instead of directly killing people they just lure them out to the various Mabeasts highlighted to be around this town and let ‘em snack.

li: THE dog girl of all time have you seen the way she acts. she would jump on you and knock you over without a second thought.
qilan: cat girl. acts sociable enough but actually intensely private and will swipe at you if you act in a way she doesnt like.
zhixing: also a cat girl but the type that keeps to herself. mostly content to just hide and vibe and stare at you with her big old eyes and then startle if you get too close.
yu: im breaking patterns. shes a fox girl and unforch that means she is noisy and also a habit of biting and being generally obnoxious. terrible little creature…..
