I will say this about the decade I grew up in, the 2000s.
I mostly had a good time in the 2000s when I was a kid, due to that I was raised well and such. If you were raised badly around that time or even another decade, i’m very sorry for you. I wish you the best to feel good in the future.
I’m not going to say the 2000s or any other decade is the best time ever, it’s largely opinion and depends on how we were raised, even when the world often isn’t in the best state.

Does anyone know of any fanfics, indie animation, etc that involve time travel with decades “clashing” if that makes any sense? Like either people from different decades live in one world amongst each other or there’s time travelers from different eras who are friends and/or coworkers & they know they’re all from different time periods? Those are kinda my ideas for my time travel au but it would be great to have at least a couple references so I can make sure I’m doing this right lol (also trying to debate whether or not my characters should be humans or anthro)

You know those people who like everything they do is related to a specific time period like you have people living like it’s the 60s or 70s or 80s etc etc right is there/there should be. An event for that just like everyone from whatever time period and it’s like a cosplay convention based around that but everyone acts like theyre time travelers like people roll up asking questions only someone who time traveled recently would say and they you just roleplay you are geniunely from that time (without any bigotry of course don’t sell like racist shit or something)
