back on tumblr 10 years later….
AHHH i loved tumblr. i was a superwholock (i know….) girlie who loved the community here. from 13-19, i used tumblr all the time. it’s how i found movies, bands, art, inspiration, etc.
when the yahoo buyout happened, i just stopped going on the platform.
but now, i am trying to make a new gaming acct called kayl plays. and i need that inspiration back!
i have always been a long time lurker in the gaming community - never commenting or engaging. but that changes today! i created a new tumblr acct and for the first time in YEARS, i plan to use it.
it feels strange, but feels like a return. im home :)

Not at all anon! Some creators feel like that, I sometimes feel like that whenever I finish a fic or something and I get little to no traction. Sometimes I also wonder if it’s even worth it anymore.
It’s a perfectly valid feeling to have, especially when you put in time and effort.
(But it’s not okay to be mean or rude to people just because of it fyi, don’t hold works hostage just because you didn’t get traction)
Anyway, no need to feel bad anon. Whenever I feel demotivated or disappointed, I often remember my readers or commentators who are reading my stuff. I hope this helps in some way anon!
