Spectral (2016) is scary for PG-13 movie, I feel like R would have been a more appropriate rating for it (especially considering the genre, this is a military scifi action-thriller) but that plus the ending being smarter than I expected was what made me like it - ⭐⭐⭐

Bright (2017) is an urban fantasy action-thriller and about what you would expect a PG-13 movie to be but by some reason it’s rated R (okay, there’s some scenes violent enough to make it safer to give it a higher age rating and there’s also a scene where there’s a topless woman but still, it’s really more like a PG-13 movie). From time to time the plot isn’t that great but I loved it how it has orcs and elves living as a part of modern society. That’s such a clever idea - ⭐⭐⭐

District 9 (2009) is a R-rated scifi action movie that begins in very relistic-looking documentary/news style with expert interviews and comments from the general public (which I loved, it caught my interest immediately) but then turns into cruel violence. While the story is captivating, it’s also gory to the point of being hard to tolerate and I strongly advice more sensitive people to not watch it - ⭐⭐

Great movie, kept me on my toes and I never quite knew if anyone was going to survive outside of Fran Madison and Dr Mark Clyne-

However-

General James Orland, this guy:

He infuriated me- he wasn’t even there for the first hour of the movie then he shows up- half traumatised to be fair. Then he starts acting like he’s gone through the worst of it (he realistically stood there and ran as the military base was killed by the spectrals- which is still bad but then the others had more)

Dr Clyne, Major Sessions and their group watched part of their team, another team and the pick up team died, figured out ways to stop the spectrals, met 2 kids, watched one die, watch the other get put in the medical bay and learnt more about the spectrals than anyone else- hell, they fought some spectrals. Orland then treats it like they did nought and gives a big speech going on about “this is where you make change” and “you might die” while treating them like they know nothing.

Orland then STANDS TO THE SIDE AS THEY BOARD THE HELICOPTER AND GO TO FIGHT THE DAMN SPECTRALS!!!

They could of taken away his character and I wouldn’t have cared, he infuriated me to no end.

Multiplexing with Spectral Confocal Fluorescence Microscopy - New Study

My older sister chose to watch some movies for her birthday. Sure, that was yesterday but I’m making this review now.

Spectral was a very cool. A movie about a futuristic military fighting ghosts? Sign me up! This movie is filled with action, and explosions, and a tiny little bit of mystery (kind of). All around I thought it was entertaining and awesome.

AOFBEOWJXHWOQHXBDOQOXHCIWPXHXGJWJXBD THE WILD ROBOT WAS SO GOOD!!! I LOVED EVERYONE IN IT AND I NEED THE SEQUEL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!! All of the stuff stated above are true but it’s also true that I think this is quite possibly one of DreamWorks’ best movies.

We also rewatched The Truman Show and it’s still amazing.

Alright, end of review. Tune in next time where I will watch… Something, IDK.
