We have recently added a new kitty to the Changeling Chain family: Meet Pollux, an #esa in training and possible #servicecat (If Texas and/or US Federal law gets their act together.) Solaris and Polaris are essentially a bonded pair at this point, so taking either of them on trips/errands would make the other one sad. Pollux, however, is fine on his own, so long as he has a human with him. He will be a stream cat as well, possibly joining Solaris and Polaris once they accept him. (Commander Cavy and Major Change already do, however.) The #armoredbearbattalion will flourish with the addition of Pollux. Hopefully he will be loved by you all as much as he is by me.

I never thought an animal would change my life so much. This is Dedo, he’s been my cat for 11 months and I can honestly say that he is the best things that’s happened to me since my diagnosis. Every day when I come home from class he’s waiting for me by the door, eyes huge, tongue peeking out.
Dedo will never lie to me. I know something isn’t real and I’m hallucinating if he can’t see it and doesn’t react. I know he loves me and needs me because he shows it. He chooses my bed, my lap, and comes to me for food. I need to be needed by him.
Now I know some people don’t like cats, I thought I didn’t like cats, but I guess I was being really stupid because this cat is absolutely amazing. My life can be really scary. I hear things and see things that aren’t real, I think they’re going to hurt me. They tell me that I’m going to hurt other people. I have a disease without a cure and my kidney could fail or dialysis could stop working. Dedo doesn’t pity me, he just loves me. That’s why he’s truly a good boy.

I’m actively trying to register Crowley as an Emotional Support Service Animal to help deal with my anxiety and depression.
I went through a really, really hard time over the last few months and he was right there with me the whole time. When my agoraphobia was so bad I missed weeks worth of work and couldn’t leave my house without having a debilitating panic attack, Crowley laid with me the entire day and snuggled me and made me feel so much better.
He slept with me every night when I was feeling really upset. When I was having an anxiety attack, he would lay on my chest and purr, rubbing against my face. The weight of him on me helped calm me more than anything, much like a weighted blanket works.
Right now I don’t have him with me and its destroying me. I’m hoping once I register him, I can bring him everywhere with me.
If anyone has any tips or info on how to register him as a service animal, please let me know!

To those of you who don’t know my story here it is…
I chose a family that consists of a mummy and her 2 boys, Luke who turned 16 2 weeks ago & Kian who’s 11. Kian was born premature & has heart, lung, immunodeficiency syndrome, bone & soft tissue complications & autism. From the moment I went home I chose him as my human. I quickly learnt when he was struggling to breath even when asleep & would run & tell mum before he collapsed. I take him to bed every single night & stay with him til he falls asleep. If he wakes up I run and tell mum. Kian self harms so I lay on his head or put my paw on his hands to stop him-it works! Often Kian won’t speak to anyone so I sit with him so he isn’t lonely. Our life was perfect. Until…I got ran 7 weeks ago. Both of my front legs were broken & facing the wrong way, the skin ripped off of my left leg & the paw on my right. It hurt so much but when my family found me I just purred. I was so happy to see them. Vets told mum & Kian to put me to sleep, that they could get another me. Kian screamed/cried & even though I couldn’t walk I used my back legs to push me across the floor & laid on his head to comfort him. Mum signed the papers to say goodnight to me but begged the vets to try. She didn’t feel right about it so rang @fitzpatrick_referrals @supervet_nf & they said to bring me straight down. The rest they say is history. The wonderful vets, nurses & staff have treated me like a king. They have rebuilt my legs. Sewn my bottom hole & tube up when abscesses popped. I literally had poop coming through my skin. I’ve had skin grafts. Everyone kept saying I wouldn’t survive, the shock would kill me..I’d give up. But here I am. Fighting. Staying alive. I don’t scratch & bite like I’ve seen the other cats do-why when I can purr & get hugs.
I do now have some nasty bugs that means I can’t go home but desperately want to!

Hello everyone,
I am Diablo. I am a #SA, and #ESA. I am needing to get a #emergency full #dental #extraction ASAP.
Right now we are working with Cascade Park Animal Hospital. We have had blood work drawn, and are waiting to hear back about when we can proceed. My blood work came back great, high antibodies which is normal for a stomatitis kitty. We have about 30 days on this blood draw to come up with funds and do the surgery, otherwise I have to have a new blood draw.
I have severe #stomatitis, and recently I have been unable to eat for almost two weeks. I have been on antibiotics, pain medications, and drinking water from tuna cans. We have tried cows milk, goats milk, multiple kinds of cat food, and I just can’t take it in. Momma found me some wet food pouches that I seem to be able to eat. But, it’s still not enough nutrition to keep me from loosing. Weight
Please help me.
We have been told it will be about 2,500 - 3,000 dollars. I will be having to stay the day before, of and after the extraction.
If for any reasons my costs are lower, we will be donating any funds left over to the rescue group I was adopted from, which is the wonderful @tcarescue
As we get more information, and any bills we will post them.
