Gimana Cara Ngadepin Senin (Monday Blues)?

Kadang suka heran, kenapa kalau udah masuk Minggu sore ke malem orang-orang pada ngepost atau ngetweet ngingetin besok senin lagi, back to reality, dsb. Berasa berat banget nagdepin Seninnya? XD

Padahal, Senin ini yang ditunggu-tunggu. Hahaha. Rasanya seperti Reborn, Recharged, Refreshed!

Faktanya: Senin adalah hari paling produktif. Ini menurut beberapa study. Ada dari Moneypenny, Money Control dan Onepoll.

Ada jam: menit pada hari Senin yang dinilai paling produktif: Monday 10:54 a.m.

Bahkan, pukul 4 subuh adalah waktu paling produktif setiap harinya (Wall Street Journal). Alasannya, karena hanya ada sedikit distraksi sebelum terbitnya matahari.

Coba tanya mereka yang udah habis subuh harus berangkat kerja, gimana rasanya?

Beberapa orang melakukannya itu karena memang harus melakukannya, misalnya yang bekerja di kebun, ladang, pasar, atau yang memang jarak antara rumah dan kantor cukup jauh.

Tapi, ada juga yang beralasan karena memang ingin dan memilih untuk menjadi earlyriser or morning person.

Untuk bisa melakukannya, persiapan dimulai pada malam harinya atau hari sebelumnya: olahraga, makan bernutrisi, tidur cukup.

Sayang banget kalau hari Senin kita diawali dengan negative vibes MONDAY BLUES. Karena pada hari itulah produktivitas kita dianggap paling tinggi. Jadi, kalau Seninnya udah negatif, bakalan kebawa ke hari-hari berikutnya dan pekerjaan akan semakin menumpuk.

Monday blues: you wake up feeling sad, low spirited, and run down Monday morning (penghujung awal pekan atau di akhir pekan).

Beberapa hal ini bisa dilakukan untuk mencegah Monday Blues.

Plan on Friday
Apa yang kita kerjakan di hari Senin baiknya sudah direncanakan sejak Jumat - sisa-sisa pekerjaan. Usahakan listnya sudah ada supaya Senin langsung bisa sat set tanpa mikir ‘mau ngapain ya hari ini?’. A great Monday begins on Friday.

Do Something on Saturday
Cari aktivitas yang benar-benar lepas dari pekerjaan. Piknik, olahraga, nonton, baca buku, masak, main sama keluarga, temen dan lainnya. Ini buat mencegah anxiety. Kalau Sabtu masih kurang, lanjut sampai Minggu pagi.

Taka A Rest on Sunday
Ada ungkapan 'A great Monday starts already on Sunday’. Baik Minggu sore buat istirahat di rumah. Kalau mau yang capek-capeknya, habisin di Sabtunya. Sabtu itu refreshing, Minggu itu recharging.

No Heavy Meeting on Monday
Boleh dicatat ya, jangan bikin jadwal meeting Senin pagi. Kenapa? Karena sudah pasti weekend akan tersita untuk persiapan meeting. Apalagi kalau meeting penting Plus, kerjaan-kerjaan lain jadi ga bisa kepegang.

Well-Dressed
Mau wfh atau wfo, perhatikan penampilan. Maksudnya, jangan asal-asalan. Menjaga penampilan ternyata membantu meningkatkan self-esteem dan membuat kita lebih produktif. Menurut beberapa studi tentang ENCLOTHED COGNITION, apa yang kita kenakan berdampak pada performa/kinerja.

Play On, Too
Rayakan dengan SOCIAL CONNECTION. Do fun things on Monday, too. Dulu-dulu pernah juga olahraga atau nongkrong dulu sebentar sebelum pulang, atau siangnya maksi bareng. Biar Senin itu ga berasa tegang.

Change Your Mind
Afirmasi positif dan ubah perspektif tentang hari Senin. Sama seperti memulai yang baru yang seharusnya penuh semangat, senang dan gembira. Salah satunya, berangkat pagi. Kalau mau cek sosial media, do it! Ga perlu ditahan, tuntaskan habis itu fokus ke kerjaan.

Just Do It on Tues, Wed, Thu
Jangan menunda-nunda hal basic yang bisa dilakukan di weekdays, misalnya belanja, laundry, kerjaan-kerjaan rumah lainnya. Ga perlu nunggu weekend karena weekendmu sudah ada rencananya sendiri.

Well I’m a bit frustrated 😤 Turns out my Disney Movie Club order was declined twice and I just found out today. I contacted customer service from the Disney Movie Club. They resolved things but now I have to wait a few weeks again for all my stuff to arrive. What a morning 🤦‍♂️
