Genuine question for all you lightmode enjoyers out there: is there anything special you look for or hate running into on lightmode websites?

This may sound like a silly question but I’ve converted to darkmode almost entirely and my under-construction website uses a purple darkmode design. It seemed appropriate to also have a lightmode design, but I’m still figuring out how to translate the existing design to a light version, and I was curious if anyone had any particular pet peeves about colors, etc. For instance, in darkmode, it sucks for me personally when icons or text are especially bright on the background, because they’re uncomfortable to look at.
