I retired in 2020 and one of things I wanted to do was start a blog. I feel that I write well and that my life is fairly interesting. Besides that, I have a lot of opinions that I feel the need to share.
Initially, I signed up for GoDaddy as I wanted to buy my own domain, i.e. bkwerm.ca and I did. Then I tried to transfer it to WordPress where it has been ever since. I have never been able to activate my blog with that website as I’ve had this error message for years and can’t figure out how to fix it:

How to Transfer Your ClickFunnels Domain to Another Registrar (Step by Step Guide)
If you’re running your online business through ClickFunnels, you probably know how convenient it is to manage your funnels and domains in one place.
But what happens when you want to move your custom domain to another registrar like GoDaddy or Namecheap? 🤔
The process isn’t as straightforward as it seems, especially for domains registered with ClickFunnels before May 30, 2024.
💡 Here’s the Real Deal
For these domains, you can’t transfer them directly to GoDaddy or Namecheap. First, you must move your domain to DNSimple. Only then can you transfer it to your preferred registrar.
Sounds confusing? It definitely can be if you’ve never done it before. You need to:
✅ Create a paid DNSimple account (credit card required even if you use their 30-day trial)
✅ Email ClickFunnels with specific information to request the transfer
✅ Approve the transfer in DNSimple
✅ Then move your domain to GoDaddy, Namecheap, or any other platform you prefer
⚠️ Why Does This Matter?
If you skip a step or miss the right information in your email to ClickFunnels, your transfer request might get delayed, which can affect your website, email setup, and business operations.
