Even though all other cats can retract their claws, cheetahs can not, meaning their claws are not sharp and the damage they deal is pathetic compared to other cats’ claws.
On the other hand, even though all other dogs can’t retract their claws, foxes absolutely can, meaning their claws are genuinely sharp, allowing them to deal considerable damage and grapple onto trees to climb them, similar to how leopards can climb trees.

The short version: After an incident at his old preschool , Stewie gets transfered to a run down new one and brings his various gadgets at school to make the days with his new friends less boring.
So their pulling what they tried to with Angelica’s Preschool days and succesfully did with Jessica’s Little Big World, having a second show during the time the lead character isn’t around the bulk of the main cast.
Now granted unlike the former two examples where they were legit things we just had not seen with those characters in the flagship, we have seen Stewie in preschool. On in off during the early days and the days I watched it, and apparently more since to the point we eventually got Doug, his rival played by Chris Parnell whose apparently REALLY hated. (Lydia did a video on him, the only reason I know he exists).
It dosen’t seem used all the time, especially now Doug’s dead, but it’s used enough that it probably inspired this concept, just this time mashing it with the high concept sci fi stories Stewie is good for while giving him a new scene partner.
As for how I feel i’m not on board for a buncha reasons. Let’s get the petty one out of the way first: I’m still pissed Fox both decided not to go ahead with the Bloom County animated series, a dream of mine since I was a teenager, because Trump won and canceled the Great North but renewed the uninspired and mostly unwanted trio of Krapopolis, Grimsburg and especially Universal Basic Guys. Adding a spinoff no one, even fans of the show your spinning off asked for, the second time you’ve done this no less, is insult to injury. Given it’s premering next year, it was likely already in the mix well before Great North got canceled but it still honks me off.
Even trying to be objective it just.. sounds like the kind of idea the show itself would make fun of. It sounds like something from a family guy equilvent to Simpsons Spinoff Showcase. If you want to do more stewie focused sci fi episodes, just make those a more frequent thing on the main show. The Cleavland Show was a bad idea.. but it still was something that , to try this, NEEDED to be it’s own series with it’s own cast. At a time when Fox is struggling for space and not really using it well, see all those junk renewals , we really don’t need this. At a time when Adult Animation is thriving and getting creative… no one asked for this. There’s plenty of room for more adult animated sitcoms, especially good ones. But this is the kinda spinoff that makes people doubt spinoffs can work in the first place and one I was way angrier about than I realized. I know logistically Great North did not die so this show could continue, Fox just wasn’t intrested in more and could’ve squeezed it in or put it on hulu first if they reallyw anted to. But a show like that that while having a weaker 5th season, still delivered consitent jokes and character stuff and had more to do going out while Fox’s next show to greenlite is more of something they already have… it’s fucking disheartining.

I am Angel Fox
I am pleased to announce, that I have passed my dissertation defense and I am now a doctor IRL.Therefore, my sona, Peter, has become Angel Fox.
Angel Fox can fly, of course, with high speed up to 210 mph (so far, still learning the advanced technique). He can now do temporary tornadic spin attack for only 7 seconds. Finally, Peter’s long brown mane flows magestically.
I’ve been wanting to give Peter wings, but I had to wait until the time is right for me to let him earn them officially.
I still have a lot of practice in flying, so once I get better at it, Peter’s ability grows higher.
