I’m normally not into coloring Celtic illustrations but, Cari does it so beautifully. Her line art called out to me and I just had to color this page! Makes me a little sad that I didn’t leave the border colored as is. It had a lot more dimension before adding the Gansai Tambi, giving it that lovely gold sheen but covering up the shading.

Paper - Canson XL Bristol Smooth Mixed Media paper.
I’ve been using this paper a lot in the past month or so and have really enjoyed it. Works great with Polychromos, Prismacolor, Derwent Inktense, Albrecht Durer, and Tombow Markers. Not great with the Neocolor 2 in my opinion, as you can probably see in this page. The soluable agent just slides around the paper and never really let the pigment absorb. Over all it’s great and easy to blend on.
