Potential No. 1 NBA Draft pick AJ Dybantsa says he ‘might not leave college’, but BYU star can’t be serious

BYU star AJ Dybantsa is one of the top candidates alongside Duke’s Cameron Boozer and Kansas‘ Darryn Peterson to become the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. Dybantsa, who is college basketball’s leading scorer (24.9 points per game), is part of what could go down as one of the best freshmen classes of all time.
However, don’t write in Sharpie that Dybantsa will enter this summer’s draft.…

BYU, Career Fairs, and CPB

Yesterday, BYU’s Office of Career Services hosted a career fair. One of the potential employers? Customs and Border Patrol.

The inclusion of CPB led to a massive protest and demonstration and outrage among community members and alumni of the school.

Before I definitely weigh in, I have a couple questions about BYU career fairs:

What are the criteria for participating? Like, if any employer…

I promised myself that I wouldn’t worry about my byu admission but now we’re getting close to the deadline and I’m highkey freaking out 😭😭😭

I want to go to a cheap but academically rigorous school SO BAD but all the schools in my state are party schools and I don’t wanna spend 2 billion dollars to go to the only one that’s not

really need a role model rn who 1. loves God despite discomfort with church policy and culture and 2. loves others like an introspective, agnostic, socialist, antiracist who immerses themselves in their immigrant neighbors’ cultures and cares about them as actual people and children of God and doesn’t just say “well, things are supposed to get bad before the second coming” and “if only those whiny liberals knew Jesus could take away their worries”. i don’t know where to find anyone like that. i don’t even know if i’ve met anyone like that

there is a guy in one of my classes doing a report on the Missouri Extermination Order and his comments so far are along the lines of “gee, I can’t believe that the government of this great country would treat a minority group so terribly”

As it is acceptance season for upcoming BYU students I thought it might be nice to make a post with advice especially for any queer students who are starting in the fall:) To any current/former students please reblog with your advice!

1. If you can fit it in take a class that you know will attract left leaning people. I met my best friend taking a late summer honors women’s history class even though I’m a STEM student

2. It can feel really lonely and like there’s nobody who shares your world view here but there are! Get involved in local organizations/clubs! Some that come to mind are rainbow collective, USGA Utah, and Mormons with Hope

3. If you feel safe doing so wear some kind of indicator (ie pride/progressive pins, carabiners, etc). It is so helpful in helping people know you are a safe place and makes it easier to find chill people in your classes

4. Always check your religion professors before taking their class. Check the ratemyprofessor and ask trusted people for recommendations. Trust me you do not want to have a full semester with a shitty religion professor

5. Take advantage of the free public transit for students! Feeling stir crazy? Go spend an evening up in slc! Along with this classes up at the Salt Lake Center are super chill (especially chem 105)

Top 25 And 1: No. 1 Arizona on the road to take on BYU and AJ Dybantsa

CBS Sports graphic

This is the first Monday since college football’s season concluded. So, by definition, more attention is now on college basketball. And the schedule-makers met the moment with a fun doubleheader set for Monday.
I guess that’s not technically the best doubleheader we could have — but it’s pretty great. Those four schools are No. 1 (Arizona), No. 4 (Duke), No. 8 (BYU) and No. 20…

So for my PR class, one of the assignments is to (I quote)

“Take screenshots of all the brand posts you see on social media and report on which ones are good and which ones are bad”

Oh, I’m sorry, I forgot that other people go on sites where like, freaking Wendy’s will get on and try and get on your feed.

I’m never getting off Tumblr

I just watched a man buy four gallons of milk.

All of them were the same brand, just different percents.

That’s all he bought.
