The Rhythm of the Earth
There is something so incredibly grounding about working with bamboo. It’s the ultimate slow-living ritual—transforming raw stalks into a personal symphony for your garden. From the tactile feeling of selecting the wood to that final, satisfying assembly, you’re not just building a wind chime; you’re capturing the breeze. Imagine this: a golden-hour sunset, a soft summer wind, and the hollow, woody song of something you made with your own two hands. Pure, unadulterated peace. 🎋🌬️✨

windchimes sound like holiday lights if you shake umm ^_^_^_^ but back to zen garden I go
One day, it’s my dream to live in a raggedy little old house or trailer on a decently sized plot of land. To lay in my bed, by the window, my white lace curtains floating over me by the will of the wind while a storm rolls in. And to hear my wind chimes singing outside while I hum something bittersweet and shut my eyes. The smell of rain coming. The smell of wild grasses and my garden and the earth and whatever incense I’m burning. Then I’ll truly be rich.

Certainly the divorcing woman is out of bounds here, but so far out of bounds that I have crossed over from being offended at the entitlement to being impressed 😮

Show in Peoria, IL.

One windchime: pleasant tinkling
Two windchimes: can sound discordant at times, probably better to stick with just one
Anything more than two windchimes: should really be classified as an act of war against the concept of sound and punishable under the geneva convention

man I hate windchimes
Like, oh I’m sitting outside on my back porch enjoying the little bit of pseudo-nature I can have in suburbia. I know I’m not really in nature, but it’s peaceful. There are trees to look at and birds singing and I feel the warm sun on my skin. Yknow how to improve this experience?
