after Housing launched i spent ALL my time grinding rep to buy decor but not really touching my house
since I finally have a guild that RPs I was finally inspired to build and y'all
if you’re old enough to remember when The Sims came out and it was like instant CRACK? Like you didn’t even get to playing the damn game you just spent hours decorating. WoW housing is like that on steroids. I just spend how many hours building an appropriate home for my undead mage and I need to go buy some more Lordaeron fencing lol I bought a shit ton and it was not enough. I put coffins surrounded by flowers in her yard! Whose are they??? Well I know one is her father but the other???? She has yet to reveal this to me.
She trained in Silvermoon before moving on to Dalaran for mage studies and so she has a real fondness for the belves, there’s a lot of Belf decor in her place. I want to be like a hybrid Forsaken/Silvermoon aesthetic with dashes of Dalaran looks and slight Human touches.
Since she’s an Arcane mage, her house is FILLED with bookshelves. books are everywhere. Books are her life. I need to dig into it more, it’s still a work in progress but omg my guildies are so nice. we had a very funny OOC chat about Calia Menethil. And i made an off hand comment about the 4th war being over and someone was like “that’s a matter of opinion” and i was like, I should have said “over” lol I HAVE FOUND MY PEOPLE. THEY ARE SALTY AF DEAD PEOPLE.
AND THEN I HAVE TWO OTHER RP TOONS WITH COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TASTES TO MAKE HOMES FOR OMG

btw THANK YOU TUMBLR WARCRAFT COMMUNITY for directing me to find a guild after I’ve been struggling. I am so very happy to say I have found an Undead Only guild called The Hand of Tirisfal. When doing my interview to join the guild, the guild leader asked if I was committed to not just the Forsaken but the Horde and I showed him a pic of my hybrid Sylvanas/Horde logo tat and told him my dog’s name is Sylvanas and he was like “…. I also have a Horde tattoo and my cat’s name is Sylvanas.” I HAVE TOTALLY FOUND MY PEOPLE Y'ALL
