‘unique’ final review ⭐️!
[[MORE]]unique: first things first, we gotta dead this 2 minute shit in kpop i’m so serious. anyways, this sounds like the weeknd and anitta’s são paulo mashed with the usual p1 superhero cinematics. the latin-esque flow & jersey club sound in this doesn’t sound bad and p1 managed to add in some elements to make their own but i don’t care for the song.
pandemonium: i must have looked so confused while listening to this lol. this track is unique for it’s glitchy and digital sounding chorus and refrain. this should be played in a club in like 2075 for the dance-tech-edm thing it’s got going on, especially with the public service announcement woman they stuck in before the outro. speaking of the outro, that was the best sounding part of the song to me.
l.o.y.l: i liked the first beat switch it was unexpected but it was also sexy. keeho-jiung-theo voice line up ^^ for that part was nice. the chorus was 3 out of 5 points cunty. jeongseob’s outro chorus was 4.5 out of 5 points cunty.
wednesday girl: this is the most solid track in the album so far to me. p1 sound the most…together(??) on this and if i had to pinpoint exactly why, their voices compliment eo the most and their delivery doesn’t feel as forced or out of place.
triple 7: oh the instrumental is nastyyyy, okay. okay so far this has the best sound musically to me. the chorus is very good. this sounds like smth i’ve listened to before but i cannot put my finger on it. anyways get triple 7 in the clubs 🚨🚨‼️‼️‼️
ice (vvs): the instrumental ate actually whatever the whole song ate. goddamn???? the oh-so-infamous “who’s gonna be my wifey?? (…) takki you’re so cocky” has made it to my ears and yes he sounded cute as hell. “nice to meet you, HI-EE” NOOOOOO 😭😭😭😭 HE’S SO CUTE 😭😭😭😭 his and keeho’s joint verse was good. all the verses in here were so cute i can’t take them seriously at all but chorus moved me. they got me there.
OVERALL, okay so as you can see the last three songs were the ones that moved me. 'wednesday girl’ sounded like a tried and true recipe i cannot explain it but the track’s structure and group delivery were so aligned that the track’s pretty hard not to like. 'triple 7’ made me wanna get up and hype. simple as that - it’s addictive without being repetitive and the beat was naaaaasty. same thing with 'ice (vvs)’ that instrum was very good. idk who did production for those two but they need their ass ate or whatever they into. the musical quality of those two tracks are just that good man 🙂↔️🙂↔️.
brother i don’t know the first three songs just weren’t as good to me, didn’t scratch my ears as well / at all. and i won’t get into the lyrical aspect of album as i feel there’s nothing really to unpack there. this album overall is mostly a miss to me. i will be hitting the gym blasting 'ice’ and 'triple 7’ tho. i love finding new music especially for the gym 🥰 those two are such a vibe like idek if i can get over it.
