One of my dream pets is a snapping turtle because Clint’s Reptiles somehow keeps happening upon the most chill snapping turtles imaginable that rest their little heads on his leg and I go: that is a whole dog right there. That is a pet. If I had a snapping turtle it would love me and never try to snap my fingers from my body like I was a gingerbread man

My mom sold my turtles because they’re lesbians
it’s not even because she’s homophobic or something, it all started when i wanted a pet turtle as a gift. but i figured the turtle would be lonely so i got two, at first I didn’t know their sex because they’re tiny as hell, the size of a coin. as they grew, i noticed that they keeps fighting and the smaller one kept scratching me
so my first thought was “what the hell?? they don’t like eachother?”. i wouldn’t want to force them to reproduce because that’s not the point i bought them together.
until one day, they did those weird things where the bigger one, let’s call call her juni humps junior with those weird sounds. okay, they got along!
a week later i decided to clean their place, so i lifted them off before i proceed to wash the aquarium. and as i lifted them both, their tail size seems to be VERY similiar, their chest is flat, thats how I found out they’re LESBIANS
i told my mom about it and within a week later, they’re immediately sold to some random guy with a stupid truck :( i was very angry but until these days idk the reason she sold them
i hope they remain inseparable though

Did I tell you guys about Michelangelo the baby turtle? I was just reminded by Kendy telling her about them 😂
Anyway, our house is on a small lake and we also have a pool. I guess a baby turtle missed the lake and went for the pool. I found him and grabbed a thing and got him out of the water. I put him in an empty bucket to carry him down to the lake. I picked him up to gently set him in the lake and the little shit bit me.
I of course was caught by surprise and accidentally flung him into the lake 😭😭
Anyway Im sure he is alive and a much bigger turtle now ✌️
