A classic one, and one of the calmer photos I think I’ve ever done.

This is one of my favourite van gogh paintings i saw while in Paris. I wish I saw it being painted but vincent had stored it away somewhere presumably when I saw him. At least the sunflowers i persuaded him to draw became one of his best works

I focused my attention on the water’s surface and I studied its mirror effect without any interference.
So I printed three different ponds, two anonymous, one very famous: Giverny is a village in the Normandy region that was the home of Claude Monet.

Inspiration for a medium-sized, modern, backyard concrete paver pond in full sun.
