i am extremely fond of Lady and Nero as a duo conceptually and it makes me really mad they don’t have more interactions within the games or novels.
that tragic sense of knowing, and of Nero, the horror of being known. Lady would never attempt to baby Nero, not in a million years, but there’s a quiet companionship there. sometimes it’s loud. sometimes it’s a scoff or a small nod. sometimes they find ways to have fun on demon hunts. other times, Lady is giving him cryptic and strangely philosophical advice over the phone, and Nero never knows how to respond correctly (she’s clearly drunk).
different circumstances, but a stable footing for enough understanding to happen.
they get into debates over guns on the regular.
with Trish, it’s a little awkward. Nero never forgot Gloria, what a hell of an introduction, but he also knows Trish is much more than what she seems. there’s a silent companionship once more, and Nero is sometimes caught off guard by her occasional naivety—maybe not… naivety per se, just. gaps in knowledge. she seemed so jaded; she had to be, if the unspeakable, observable weight between her and Dante was any indication.

that one game called devil may go shopping with his daughter and besties while drinking lavender latte <3
I don’t know what kinda drugs the DMCverse would have going on or how demons would be affected by them, but I think Trish would be sooo fucking fun to be around while she’s high
She’d be this tweet

i wonder if trish, right after dmc1, was very impressionable. innocent. she quickly bonded with lady and mimicked her behavior of sassing dante, but i still think she has a lot of gentle innocence in her. she was made for one purpose. everything else, a wonder.
this is to say, i think she was very suspect to dante’s interests. maybe saw all of his idolization of lewd women, and she wondered, maybe, maybe she should try, too. after all, dante has so much praise and adoration in his gaze [which, later more seemed to be envy].
getting a modelling job wasn’t particularly hard.
… however, she didn’t stay long. they were nice at first, but their behaviors were abhorrent, even according to dante, when she explained it with a few white lies about what she was actually doing.
despite quitting, it was a few months later when dante found her in one of his regular magazines, and gave her a firm talking to about what was and wasn’t appropriate.
maybe talking to is strong.
more.
pleading.
he doesn’t want her to 1. get involved in shady stuff like that, or 2. see her in lewd positions and attire like that.
