23 POM TEAS!

With these biscotti, you’ll get the perfect combination of citrusy orange and crunchy almonds. They’re a delicious treat to have with your favorite tea or coffee.
Ingredients: 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour. ½ cup granulated sugar. ½ teaspoon baking powder. ¼ teaspoon salt. Zest of 1 orange. ½ cup almonds, chopped. 2 large eggs. ½ teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, orange zest, and chopped almonds. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. Divide the dough in half and shape each half into a log, about 10 inches long. Place the logs on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the logs are lightly golden and firm to the touch. Remove from the oven and let the logs cool for about 10 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 325F 160C. Using a sharp knife, cut the logs diagonally into ½-inch thick slices. Place the slices cut-side down on the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the biscotti are crisp and golden. Remove from the oven and let the biscotti cool completely on a wire rack. Enjoy the Orange and Almond Biscotti with your favorite tea or coffee!

The Power of Tea
Tea is more than just hot water and leaves. It is a ritual, comfort, and for many people, a necessity. Made from the leaves of Camellia sinensis, a plant that originated in Southeast Asia and continues to thrive in countries such as China and Japan, tea has grown into one of the most widely enjoyed beverages in the world. According to Blake Stabler, “all types of teas are made using the leaves of the Camellia sinensis,” though the harvesting and processing methods vary greatly. These differences are what create the range of flavors, colors, and potential health benefits found in each cup.

Tea Leaf Absolute by Jermey Tamen
From delicate white tea, picked before the leaves fully mature, to earthy green tea, bold black tea, and lightly oxidized oolong, each type offers something distinct. The level of oxidation and preparation alters the chemical composition of the leaves, influencing caffeine content, antioxidant levels, and overall effects on the body. Some teas may promote relaxation because of naturally occurring compounds that have a mild calming effect, while others may support focus, digestion, or heart health by contributing to reduced stress hormones and improved circulation.
Tea Time is dedicated to exploring these differences in a way that is informative while still engaging. This blog will highlight four primary types of tea, discuss examples such as lavender and Earl Grey, and examine when and how often to enjoy them for the best results. While tea once symbolized political rebellion during events like the Boston Tea Party, today it more often represents a mindful pause in a busy day.
Whether you are a longtime tea drinker or simply curious about building a healthier habit, Tea Time invites you to steep, sip, and discover how something so simple can make a meaningful difference.
