Maybe Toriel and Frisk went into a clothing store and Sans told them that he’d just wait outside after they spent nearly 3 hours browsing the last store.
I always found shopping streets, especially the ones with super cool lamp posts with flowers to be so nostalgic. Plus, rain just fits Sans, idk, it gives very “Je ne sais quoi” vibes(I learned that word today from a youtube ad 💀, but it does describe the situation appropriately lol).
hello!!!!! thank you for sending me this really lovely message :’)) i’m sorry it’s taking me sooo long to write the final chapter. par for the course for me, but i had a crisis of confidence, a crisis of characterisation, and also a crisis of apathy. i know what i need to write. i do plan to make a stab at it this week/weekend! but anyway you didn’t even ask about that you were just really nice about it and i’m so, so glad you feel that way about it, it does bolster my resolve to get it done!! i hope i can live up to expectations of the first two parts!

The other vessel had just changed course, turning southwards. It hadn’t crossed the bows – or the wake, for that matter – of the (sizeable) ferry from which I took this picture, on a winter afternoon.

wow this is so SO nice, thank you so much for taking the time to send it! i only ever really write fic to share the silly workings of my own brain and to hopefully find that it resonates with other people. so anything like this makes me smile so much! and you got so much of what i was (am) going for!! my fave version of mack is someone who takes what he wants and doesn’t ever question if he deserves something, i.e. the total opposite to will here, who has an awareness of what he likes physically, but is so far removed from allowing himself to have what he needs emotionally. or to even admit to what that might be. like to deep it, a part of him can accept being gay if it’s just a physical thing, but to admit that he might want romance or affection from another man is much harder to come to terms with (much more gay lmao).
also sooo glad you liked that gym scene cos i questioned it a lot!!! i feel v aware of narrative tension and if it’s getting away from me while i write and that particular scene took a lot of work not to feel meandering or pointless.
