You know what I always forget until I hear it again? The fact that Frankenstein’s Monster from X-Men: First Class is an absolute banger. It is genuinely such a good piece.

John Carpenter - In the Mouth of Madness

За вычетом основного металлического риффа обрамлено некими сайлент-хилловскими нотками, настроением; ну Ямаока в конце 90-х - начале нулевых явно был в курсе этого фильма, когда сочинял собственные гитарные партии.

“Daybreak” is Cody Dunsmore’s character theme from Knightfall & Daybreak— a blend of ambient electronic melancholy, post-rock atmosphere, and officewave-inspired emotional haze.

This cue is meant to capture Cody at the beginning of the story: stuck in an ordinary life that feels too small for what he once hoped to become, worn down by isolation, routine, and the quiet weight of depression. Beneath that numbness, though, something still reaches upward.

This is the sound of that hidden motion before the world changes.

Knightfall & Daybreak is a cross-world fantasy romance centered on two protagonists, Cody and Katiya, whose lives collide across impossible boundaries. Their story explores depression, anxiety, duty, longing, and the search for meaning in worlds that demand very different kinds of courage.

Part of the developing soundtrack language for the Knightfall & Daybreak web novel.
