Got a ton of tidying done this weekend (we’ll ignore how much there still is to do, for now) so I’m almost ready to put up all of my Christmas decorations. Bought the tree on Friday (see below) and its just sitting in the living room mocking me until i finish my chores. 😅

I’ll be registering tonight for a February race - I got an email that prices go up at midnight, but didn’t ever see an announcement? And I was at the store that sponsors it yesterday and they were under the impression details were still tbd? But 20° 15k here i come! 🏃🏼♀️
[[MORE]]I think I’ve basically finished all of my gift shopping other than a couple of gift cards I’ll pick up when I’m normally at those stores and feeling good about the surprise/thing you’ll actually use balance on everybody.
Got most of the holiday plans finalized with friends and family so I can plan real life around them and do my best to find balance. But also, checking all of the boxes for stuff I really want to do - there’s a wine and beer walk (which includes a stop at this adorable shop where I grab one new ornament every year), Greg’s work party, Greg’s family party, a volunteer shift at the Christkindlmarket, dinner for just me and Greg, the various family gatherings on Christmas eve/day proper, and “old people NYE” in which our friends come over for snacks and drinks and we send them home at 10. Oh, and maybe a Packer game in there somewhere. But never consecutive days.
My brain has been very mean to me the last couple of weeks so really trying to a) not overwhelm myself with plans/responsibilities and b) focus on the areas where I’ve accomplished things even of they’re imperfect.
