Every once in a while, when I go out to feed the crows, this kitty shows up for snacks and pets. She seems to be someone’s indoor/outdoor cat on the prowl for second breakfast. This morning she ran through the murder of crows like Pumba through buzzards scattering them to the winds. I didn’t get a video of that, but it was pretty dramatic
the best use of free will is actually naming your variables breakfast and secondBreakfast
ALTGreat news, Thirsty Nerds! Our bestselling Second Breakfast now comes in a celiac-friendly* version made with buckwheat in place of the usual barley. Now more of our Hobbit friends can join in the joy and pull up to the picnic! 🧺☕️
*Processed in a shared facility with barley grain, but with strict sanitation protocols to prevent cross-contamination and so far never a reaction from our crew member with celiac disease
Hobbit Voice:
Today I’m eating a raisin and custard pastry swirl for my second breakfast.
Put cottage cheese on an everything bagel for my second breakfast this morning…… honestly ngl its a lifechanging combination

@erathene what can I say except you’re welcome :)
sometimes a certain hungry spider eats all your chickens and then refuses to share her own eggs in compensation. so you gotta improvise.

I don’t have little hobbits myself, but I do have ravenous orclings, so i understand the need for a quick but hearty meal. This takes less than 20 mins total and if you have a big enough pan you can do it all in one.

Ingredients:
180 g pumpkin seeds
200 ml soya milk
tablespoon garlic powder
tablespoon baking powder
teaspoon tumeric powder
teaspoon black salt (kala namak)
instruction:
Blend it all together in a jug. Add cold water as needed to get a ‘paste’ consistency. If it’s too wet it’ll just take longer to cook off. Heat a frying pan with oil and scramble like you would eggs. you can get it crispy (turns green) or leave it as an easy mush (stays red).
(i know it doesn’t look much like eggs but it sure does taste like them) also goes so great with ketchup.

then just put them with your favourite breakfast things: i’m a fan of these apple and onion sausages, this vegan black pudding, fried mushrooms (one pan), sundried tomato krispy kale, and naan slathered with soft cheese. Enjoying La Gorthaur alongside.
