Finally decided to DNF quicksilver, it’s SO BORING.

Having,,,, thots about prince of Krakoa!Peter.
I genuinely love the idea so much (ive been watching Queen Charlotte again and as always have my ideas)
pietro can never die in comics because he won’t haunt the narrative of any of the characters. he would haunt my narrative tho so lets hope he is immortal

We’re actually not that sure on what little lady is, really. Seeing as she’s half werewolf and half mutant, but we also have some witchy stuff on my mom’s side-?
Anyway, uh. When a guy with super speed and a lady werewolf love each other very much-
if Peter owned The Dark Side of the Moon before it was released (DOFP takes place in January 1973, and TDSOTM was released in March), did he keep it to himself or make bootleg copies to sell?
Okay, I have been too busy to read as much as I want to so I am just now finishing Brimstone (I just have the last chapter left) and I am….having a “baby yoda” moment over this whole “true name” thing. Like. You CANNOT go two whole books telling us this man’s name is Kingfisher and everyone calling him by that name (or Fisher) and then be like, j/k here’s his REAL name, AND THEN have the FMC be like “oh yes, that is forever his only name for me”, and have her start calling him that exclusively, and expect everyone to be on board! It’s a jumpscare every time I see it AND ALSO we don’t get Fisher’s POV of how HE feels about the name and being called by that instead of the name he has gone by for NEARLY TWO THOUSAND YEARS.
Overall, I had a GREAT time with the series and have really enjoyed the story and the characters and just vibing along, but this threw me for a loop right at the end, not gonna lie. And it would be different maybe if HE said the name fit him and he felt settled in it and wanted to only hear that name from his mate but we don’t. IDK, like it’s fine and the name is fine but also it’s been years and everyone is still calling Grogu “baby yoda” so 🤷🏻♀️ It’s fine to not have the CHARACTERS know, but if you’re gonna pull shit like this (NOT a character choosing for themselves to change their own name, but forcing a “new” name on an established character) either the AUDIENCE has to know ahead of time, or it becomes a plot point of the character rejecting the name and having their friends and family use the name the character (and the audience) has always identified with.
ANYWAY. I’m excited to finish the last chapter which should be tonight unless something incredibly Buddie happens to derail my evening (🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻) and then I can actually start some of my books I got for my birthday! It was supposed to be Dungeon Crawler Carl, but I think it’s gonna be Project Hail Mary instead since the movie is coming out soon.
thinking about villain!quicksilver…
a/n: this combines a few different canons including the marvel ruins comic and fox’s x-men films. i just love the concept of a completely villain speedster and besides reverse flash almost none exist. if more do, let me know!

villain!quicksilver who just snapped. he was sick of rotting in a prison cell. with an escape attempt from nightcrawler, he managed to get out and plot his vengeance alongside other mutants. this revenge is worse than anything kingpin or charles xavier could ever fathom.
villain!quicksilver who’s always looking for something of high value to steal off corpses. even after all that’s happened to him, he’s still a raging kleptomaniac.
villain!quicksilver that only got faster reflexes. he was fast before, but now even the flow of oxygen to his lungs is slow. his body is still too slow for his mind. and he aims to change that.
villain!quicksilver being a triple amputee. kingpin removed his legs to stifle his mutation and one of his arms was ripped off by magneto in their last fight before the world went to shit. polaris stepped in and gave him robotic limbs strong enough to keep up with his speed, including a three-taloned claw where his hand would’ve been.
now he can eviscerate people between their heartbeats.
villain!quicksilver being extremely jealous of himself in other timelines. if he ever were to meet a different version of himself- a nicer, funnier, less serious version- he’d tear him apart out of envy. envy and vengeance are his two driving forces.
villain!quicksilver robbing banks in nanoseconds. he can do it, after all- as long as he keeps moving, he doesn’t show up on camera. he’s that fast.
villain!quicksilver being touchy. really touchy. he’s only got one hand and his real legs only go to the ends of his thighs, so he feels a need to touch and prod at the flesh of others. the flesh he misses on himself.
villain!quicksilver dreaming about goring mutants like deadpool and wolverine. not at the same time, obviously. their regeneration factor makes sure they’d heal up forever and then some. he’d love to watch them come back together after he ripped them to bits.
villain!quicksilver only enjoying the company of certain mutants. the people that stuck with him and didn’t die or lose their powers when the world changed. storm, polaris, nightcrawler, gambit, and morph to name a few. nightcrawler especially though.

i love evil and jealous men that could rip me to pieces in the time it takes for me to blink. as always, dividers are by @/enchanthings.
if i were emily and my older white haired snarky co worker ended our situationship by simply avoiding me and being miserable i’d kill him

Summary:
Willa Novak and Laila Nejem were a peculiar pair: an ex-Catholic and a conflicted Muslim, a sexy punk and a modest hijabi, a horrible disappointment and the perfect daughter; they were both mutants and the best of friends. Together, they owned The Purple Moon, an Arab-Southern-Fusion jazz club that could only be found in New York City. Yet, the two had a secret - underneath their club was an illegal mutant fighting ring. As Gravity and Badra, they were shrewd businesswomen ready to do whatever it takes to protect themselves and their club. That readiness is put to the test when Quicksilver and Azazel of the Brotherhood of Mutants show up to investigate their fight club. But even when the Brotherhood determines that their club isn’t exploiting mutants, the pair continues to show up at the Purple Moon. What could they want of these business owners? And why do the women start to look forward to each visit?
Willa and Laila’s lives have been steady and calm for years, but with the Brotherhood involved in their club and anti-mutant hate growing, the tides are about to change.

people should pay more attention to the fact in game changer ilya was pietro maximoff. like, Guys, this is crazy information.
realized that my most writed and favorite characters both have little screen time, but even with that i came with a bunch of scenarios, aus and ideas for them in my fanfics 😭😭 lmao
thranduil have basically 15 minutes and peter maximoff have 17 minutes + 4 episodes from wandavision
