ENHYPEN “XO Only If You Say Yes”
This was way too repetitive. I don’t mind more groups trying out r'n'b but you need a. the vocals, b. the melodies and harmonies, c. a good hook. Here the “XO” hook is the biggest issue, you can’t just repeat it a hundred times and call it a day.
NiziU Rise Up"
Wow, when did NiziU suddenly go full dark and mature? This concept and r'n'b sound is a 180° turn for them. But since I never liked the Disney music they were putting out, I don’t mind it. It reminds me of BoA’s early stuff, which was better of course but still, that’s what they were going for.
Q6IX “Finder 2”
Honestly, I know nothing about this group, but this single is off their 5th album! They are nugus with a $2 budget, now imagine if NewJeans and their infinite budget had released this - people would eat it up. I think the main reason I liked this track so much is, it reminds me of Computerjockies retro banger!
