people have said it before but if you read a lot of historical literature you do begin to just sort of think in that style of language. I’ll put down the 18th century journal I’m reading and have to resist the urge to send academic emails with every Noun capitalized and punctuated only by the profuse Usage of the Em-Dash — it is a deceptively challenging Instinct to resist, & worse is that Instinct when spelling certain Words to utilize what would, some Centuries prior, be an appropriate Spelling, excepting that my Correspondence occurs in the Twenty-First Century, where Men are inflexible and uncreative in their Methods, & this Propensity of mine would appear only foolish & incorrect, instead of suggesting what it in actuality reflects, which is that I am simply an Incorrigible Nerd — Oh! the Woes of modern Sociability! I’ve been so incredibly busy and burdened by university that I don’t even have time to process my emotions. I can’t even enjoy the sparse moments of joy because I’m always thinking about other things. Regardless, I’m staying up late and making time to watch Thomas’ last klassiker. Definitely sucks that I don’t have time either to catch his remaining games :(

- actually, i never really left. i always lurk but i’m too lazy to reblog anything.
- i got a sewing machine the other day and i’ve been sewing so many things.
- it was hard for me to follow a lot of football last semester because i got too busy.
- i want to take football a lot more seriously this year (rules, technicalities, jargon, etc.) after realizing that sports media can be one of my paths after i finish uni.
- my depression has been fluctuating and i need to be back on meds and therapy but it’s all too expensive idk.
- 2024 was probably the best year of my life. it wasn’t perfect but it had a lot of great moments.
- i wanna do more things this year.
- i’m trying to get over a crush. i know it sounds silly :’—(
- i shall stop buying clothes this year and start making them :—)
- the world is crumbling and we’re all just getting by.
