not to be a feinberg watcher but MAN i’d LOVE a pandora’s box last dance style MCC. they’d have to rebalance some of the games (off the top of my head hitw and parkour warrior, but those are both very modular. i really love what they did with HITW in double date, something like that in a high skill MCC could be really really fun!)
pandora’s box last dance was an event (that feinberg commissioned, lol,) where he nominated 10 team captains who he believed to be the best players in the event scene, and then each captain got to draft their own teammates from basically any established minecraft creator who was available for the event time, which effectively created a super high skill floor competition.
with how feinberg’s teams are balanced, he’s pretty much always playing with people who are new to the event. which makes sense! but also one of his main complaints about mcc is that there’s really excellently designed games that are entirely inaccessible to new players, which just kind of sucks for them and for him.
I know this style of event isn’t really what MCC has ever been, and it would almost certainly have to be a non-canon event like rising or pride. They’ve done all-stars in the past, which is rad, but is still limited to the players who have been in MCC already. you may have the new player problem to a certain extent doing it draft style, but pulling higher skill event players in the first place they’re likely more prepared to learn how the games work, and if they’re experienced event players there’s definitely something to be said for mcc’s presence as like. The most well known event, the thing that kind of kicked off the whole genre after MCM, etc. Event players who haven’t played in MCC (because it’s always been very content creator oriented) are still gonna be familiar with its games.
i just think something like this would be really really fun to watch. i love watching people be good at minecraft :)

I was gonna contemplate the consequences of creating and mixing human DNA into one of many ways to create what is essentially an entire race of not human not animal certainly not allowed into most heavens THING to “help” with a lot of at the time modern day economic hardships……….

in ep1 caine admits he created the exit door but never finished it bc he never could quite figure out what should be on the other side of it. at the time i had assumed it meant something like he Understands on some level that the humans are wanting to leave the circus but that he doesn’t have any meaningful way to provide or recreate that, so he just kept adding on more Realistic-Looking macroverse rooms hoping the answer would just come to him one day
but now i’m wondering if. it’s still true he comprehends the real Gravity of what they’re asking for, but either knows he has no actual capacity to give that to them OR has no intentions of trying, and his fruitless attempts at having the exit door lead somewhere is the result of him not being able to puzzle out what destination/prize would be equivalent to a true exit
